What is your Gustin size for reference? I am a 34 slim in G chinos (33 slim denim) and 33 slim in the TS chino and it fits spot on in the waist. Interestingly, I have always thought that my khaki chinos were the Democratic fit since they aren't as slim as my olive or ash chinos from TS. Checked the tags: Khaki: Brennan slim Ash: Brennan slim Olive: Slim fit Yet they are all "slim" - not sure if "Brennan" serves as a differentiator. And the new drops are in the shop for funding.

I'm in between 34 slim and 35 slim in Gustin denim. Waist is loose, but thighs, knees, and calves are good on a 35. Just need about an inch less in the waist for the 35 slim to be good. The 35 slim Gustin chinos were just way too tight all over except the waist, but this was before I lost about 15 pounds so not sure now. The Jcrew 770 cut chinos fit me really well at 34, and Bonobos Slim Straight chinos fit me really well at 34. Jomers are also good at 34 or 35.

Those pants are tempting but I'm between sizes on the TS pants. I could probably do a 38, normally go for 38.5 with a belt but these are 37.5 and (touch small) and 39.5 (an inch + too big).

I'm debating on the slim chinos but I tried on 35s this weekend at the store and they feel pretty snug all around, like I'm a college hipster all over again...Makes me look taller since I have long legs for my height according to my lady.
36, was a half inch too big and I'm trying to slim down and not get chubbier.

Sizing chart on these almost exactly matches n&f skinny guy fit. and do these have any stretch to them? assuming these have dropped in the past I'd say the variance on these is +/- .5". For example, here's my 3 measures ( all 33 slim): Khaki TS (slim) Waist: 16.5" Thigh: 12" Opening: 7.25" F. Rise: 10"
Olive (slim) Waist: 17" Thigh: 11.5" Opening: 6.75" F. Rise: 10"
Ash (slim) Waist: 16.75" Thigh: 12" Opening: 7.375" F. Rise: 10.25"

Yeah, with cotton twill, I'm good with a relatively tight 34, but might do a 35 on these just to be safe as I expect no stretch.

I just have this $100 gift certificate and 20% off code burning a hole in my pocket. We go through this every spring/summer. The unrest hits a fever pitch, and then TS starts releasing stuff people here like again. We're still a couple months away from the "what's happened to these guys" posts predicting their demise, then there's a solid four to five months of wallet-draining. Don't worry, you'll be sending them your money soon enough.

Merino wool henley looks interesting. Yeah, I've been looking for a merino henley for a while. Wish it didn't have the pocket, but may still back it.

Not for me. It's confused (the shirt not the guy with the girls hair) Not sure if it's an undergarment, jacket, over shirt ..... The pocket confuses it even more.

Aren't all henleys a bit confused (I'd say versatile). I wear them as under and over layers...merino allows either to happen with more confidence than cotton for sure. The pocket is useless as an under layer however. I'd prefer it be gone.

I believe wearing it Over something (a TShirt) would defeat the value of the Merino Wools best attribute, it's wicking sweat away. I would wear it for warmth so id prefer a crew neck. Henleys with the buttons just doesn't make sense to me.
