I'm not sure what you guys are talking about. I'm all over that track suit - looks epic with my man bun. Yeah, I'd back the fedora, but I don't want to cover my man bun. Decisions, decisions. Which hipster affectation should prevail?

Didn't realize that TS changed their sizing guide to a very general one for tops and bottoms. I did like the specific measurements as it helps me figure out sizing but of course I live close by so I can always stop in store and try it on. Kinda sucks for people who have to go sight unseen now. Hopefully they go back to the more detail measurements. Would suck for Mina and others to respond to emails daily about more detailed sizing charts. Truth be told I haven't really liked anything from them in a long a while. I haven't really purchased anything in over a year from them minus a beanie. This is very aggrivating and a bush league move. I've been pushing back on this at SForum because I know their reps read there. >>>> @ T/S RE: New Sizing charts These new sizing charts for shirts are essentially useless. It tells me a 44 is a 44. This is absurd and makes no sense for the premium T/S charges for it's products. I know what size fits me from being a past customer, but if I was a new customer I would not be happy viewing those charts. >>>> Another xpost from SF. C/S from TS has answered. -Northcoast I agree northcoast & @darknight55 that in our attempt to make things easier, we left out a whole lot. The problem originates at if you're a 40 (or 31 waist) and you look at our measurements and see that the inches don't match up, you screw up your sizing. We saw lots of issues with this as more new customers have found our brand but in simplifying it, it got too simple. In the meantime, the old size charts are posted here and we're working on a better solution. Pinky promise. Being a team of under 15 and trying to stay afloat means some things get deprioritized. Not ideal but what can you do? Our goal is that no matter the fabric used, if you're a 40 in our Jack, you should always be a 40 throughout which hasn't always been the case . But that doesn't mean we can't find a better solution for the size chart -- Mucho apologizes.for the headache.

I'm a 40 in the Yosemite, 38 in dress shirts.

northcoast that's kinda stupid reasoning overall. I know it would suck to be the person who measures all the fitments of clothing but I would think it would help generate more sales as well as quality control. I do agree that sizing is not consistent at times though. My swift mills in a 42 is tighter than the ISC 42 I tried on in store a while back. Similarily, my blackwatch flannel is a 42 but even tighter. Even my chore pants sized in a 33 all fit different. I guess TS started my entry and now I am moving away do to everything fit weird now for me.

Not sure how TS evolved into the current size charting, but to me it is utterly useless. At least what they had before was a good starting point, and I think it probably worked for most people, including myself. By far, I think IH does it best by actually taking a few measurements from everything they get it, as materials sew up differently. Make no mistake though, as it seems there are many vendors that don't have a clue that some people know their measurements, and want to know the measurements of the stuff they want to purchase.

I can see the frustration with this, especially for the new customer base who cannot travel to SF to try things on in person. I have my ballpark sizes down for most items (shirts/pants) but if I opt to branch out to a jacket or something less know (or a material with variable tolerances), I'd want to know more details.

anyone with chore pants in 29 or 30 have thigh and leg opening measurements? looks like they got rid of everything except waist size for some cool reason.

Checked flannels, return of the moto jacket, and lots of other cool stuff There were a couple of mildly interesting things, but the black moto jacket is a boring and uninspired choice. I'd rather just get a Schott. The original was at least a unique color.

Flannels did look nice. But, they all had only one pocket. My ratings would have been much better, had they had 2.
Black leather was good, price not so much. $875 for cowhide is over the top. Schott, or Vanson can be had for less. A lot less, if you go used.
Too many Made in Portugal items, as well.
I'll be passing on almost all of it.

Yep, they can f right off with their Portuguese stuff. The heavy grey Jack in Last Call would be great, but...

I prefer two pockets for everything, except dress shirts. One pocket on a flannel is a deal breaker for me.

How do you feel about the pocket set-up like this? It's almost a hidden pocket.

I'll probably pick up one of the merino henleys Yep, that's the only item I was legitimately interested in. I liked the flannels okay but I'll likely be picking up Vermont Flannels if I want another. Their fit works for me, half the price, and MiUSA to boot.
