Doesn't mean I still don't hate the pattern alignment on either side of the placket.

Here is the discussed Fall/Winter stuff -- imgur.com/a/O6GmbI like the Navy Donegal fabric, but not the Maritime design.

How do you feel about the pocket set-up like this? It's almost a hidden pocket. That would work, because I wouldn't require a double flap, but not that color as I have a red/black IH one.

I'll probably pick up one of the merino henleys Yep, that's the only item I was legitimately interested in. I liked the flannels okay but I'll likely be picking up Vermont Flannels if I want another. Their fit works for me, half the price, and MiUSA to boot. I would have tried a Vermont Flannel when they introduced the fitted version, but was bummed that it only had one pocket. I made contact with them to request a two pocked fitted version, but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears.

Luckily sizing down in the classic two pocket works for me.

The new drops on the Yosemite shirts are catching my interest. That black watch plaid might be the one. I have a lot of clothing options for the one week per year where it's actually cold enough in Scottsdale to wear this stuff.
Time to move.

I don't think you give Portugal enough credit. Here's some fun facts on the country of TS construction:
1. Half of the "New World" once belonged to Portugal - the were the first global empire in history (parts of Africa, South America and Asia) 2. Over 236 million people in 9 official countries world-wide are native Portuguese speakers. 3. Portugal is the oldest country in Europe 4. The oldest bookstore in the world is in Portugal's capital 5. Portugal is the largest cork producer in the world 6. Portugal has the longest bridge in Europe 7. Portugal is one of the world's top surf spots 8. Portugal was the first colonial power to abolish slavery 9 AND, they make TS clothing.

I like the country, and my wife's family. I just don't want them making my clothes. I'm still pissed about TS making the California shirt in Portugal. I may not forgive them for such a dick move.

We have established this. The shirt was produced just behind the Hotel California in Portugal. So technically they were forthright.

This is very aggrivating and a bush league move. I've been pushing back on this at SForum because I know their reps read there. >>>> @ T/S RE: New Sizing charts These new sizing charts for shirts are essentially useless. It tells me a 44 is a 44. This is absurd and makes no sense for the premium T/S charges for it's products. I know what size fits me from being a past customer, but if I was a new customer I would not be happy viewing those charts. >>>> Another xpost from SF. C/S from TS has answered. -Northcoast I agree northcoast & @darknight55 that in our attempt to make things easier, we left out a whole lot. The problem originates at if you're a 40 (or 31 waist) and you look at our measurements and see that the inches don't match up, you screw up your sizing. We saw lots of issues with this as more new customers have found our brand but in simplifying it, it got too simple. In the meantime, the old size charts are posted here and we're working on a better solution. Pinky promise. Being a team of under 15 and trying to stay afloat means some things get deprioritized. Not ideal but what can you do? Our goal is that no matter the fabric used, if you're a 40 in our Jack, you should always be a 40 throughout which hasn't always been the case . But that doesn't mean we can't find a better solution for the size chart -- Mucho apologizes.for the headache. Hayley Chill (Taylor Stitch) Hey We don't mean to confuse you! If your TS size is 36, you're still a size 36. Our garments have not changed. Let us know if you have any other questions. Have a wonderful Tuesday! all the best, HC NORTHCOAST: TL/DR - I'll be buying the green herringbone camp pants because the 36 should have a vanity sized waist of 38.5

And saunter in with a tape measure, tell the staff you are going to take some measurements for them, help them do their job. ahh hell I just got my new shirt in and tried in on, the Portugese tan jack. I think the tops of the sleeves may be cut a bit big. Weird crosshatch pattern in the fabric and the buttons are a noticable dark brown not black. and no returns doh! www.taylorstitch.com/collections/mens-last-call/products/the-jack-in-sand-work-oxford
