I couldn't see my girl dressing like that at all. I like the pants too. Summer is all about dresses. She doesn't really wear dresses unless it's for a special occasion, like a wedding. Maybe it's a preppy northeast thing but damn the amount of sundresses out in the summer is insane. From high school on up. Other news I broke down and bought the workshop chambray. Sold my Gustin one and backed the TS.

I live in the southernmost part of the northeast, the DC Metro area, and I see shorts (casual) and pants (casual and for work) more than skirts and dresses on girls during the spring and summer.

Backed the work chambray in navy. 9oz was just too good to resist. I really like the TS fit. I'm curious if they factor shrinkage into some of their sizing. I noticed that the chambray carries a 2 1/2" longer length than the sanded canvas mechanic shirt. Both seem to be casual shirts. The chambray fit is much more similar to their hyde shirts (awesome office shirts). Maybe they expect the chambray to shrink to a similar fit as the mechanic shirt. I'm referencing the 44 size. Interesting. I think the work chambray jack and the mechanic shirt are actually almost the same cut. The fit guides just show length using different end points for some reason. The work chambray jack goes from the top of the shoulder (up by where the trap meets the neck) to the hemline, whereas the mechanic shirt goes from just below the collar button to the hemline. I think that explains most, if not all, of the apparent 2.5" difference in length.

They're just running Proper Cloth materials, yawn. Is that like a generic, "those look like something you'd see on Proper Cloth" statement? Or are you specifically seeing those same fabrics somewhere on Proper Cloth? Because I'm not.

The two recent Donegal Tartans are definite PC offerings, under Plaid. The two latest aren't, my mistake. I've been digging around a few custom shirt makers and I thought I remebered them from PC.

Anyone have a chambray TS shirt? If so how is shrinkage? I have a few, cold wash and hang dry and there is minimal to zero shrinkage.

Got a Granite Yosemite on the way! It's still cold enough in Canada I can get a couple months of wear out of it. It's my first item from TS, but I like the look of a lot of their stuff.

Their CS is amazing too. Super helpful, great return policy. They're fixing a button snap on a shirt for me right now on their dime including shipping.

Anyone have a chambray TS shirt? If so how is shrinkage? I have the Everyday Chambray. Friggin awesome shirt. Like ickes said, little to no shrink if washed on cold cycle and hung dry.

Awesome thanks ickes and Mattbert. Mina at TS said max 7% shrinkage but didn't elaborate. 7% of 46 inches would be 3 inches which is a ton. But that's not whT she meant. Can't wAit for the moss canvas and chambray to come in. Pissed I out grew the Gustin chambray.

I've found that the TS shirts, like most others made from natural fibers, will shrink lengthwise but not circumferentially. In other words, they may get a little shorter (sleeves, body length) but they won't get much tighter.

How long does their in-stock stuff take to ship? For the stock stuff, I got a shipping notice the following business day. I ordered last Friday, got a shipping notice Monday. I should be receiving it today here in Canada, so from time of order, clearing customs, and getting to my front door will have been 1 week. That's really good. G usually takes closer to two weeks from getting the shipping notice.

I've bought from TS 4 or 5 times, always prompt with shipping and general customer service. I'd shoot them an email if I hadn't heard back after a couple days on a stock item, just because it'd be out of the ordinary in my experience. Checked out the store when I was in SF for work, cool shop and great coffee next door.
