I just received my Railroad Stripe Utility shirt. I got it off of last call to test sizing. Found out that 40 is a touch too small for me, which means I need to up my sizing on my current workshop orders.
But, despite being a bit too small, it's one of my favorite shirts now. There are a few issues that present themselves if you look super closely - one pocket lines up with the striping while the other doesn't, the overall striping of the shirt is not exactly vertical, the strings are not properly tied off on two buttons. But, I love the weight and look of the shirt and don't really care about the nit-picky details. Especially since I got the shirt at a discount off of last call.
The next time these come available, I'm grabbing a new one in the right size. Being my first Taylor Stitch experience, I'm absolutely looking forward to my workshop orders.

Pocket will never be 100% lined up if you look really close at it. As long as from a small distance it doesn't look off that's pretty normal.

I recommend the Yosemite shirts in store right now. I know it's a bit late as winter is coming to a close but they are great shirts.

I love how quickly TS is on top of the Mechanic shirt. Just received an email that they are on the cutting block, and will be shipped in time for spring.

I love how quickly TS is on top of the Mechanic shirt. Just received an email that they are on the cutting block, and will be shipped in time for spring. Yeah, I got the same email as well, and as an added bonus, the owners were looking for feedback on what other colors they should do the mechanic's shirt next. For a moment, I got excited that there was this small, boutique clothing company making quality garments in the US for reasonable prices from amazing fabrics and requesting input from their customers. Then, I decided it's best to not get emotionally invested in the company given my experience with the last two.

Damn....I would like to see it in a khaki ish color, just like a classic work wear khaki color a la Dickies. something along those lines. Also, a Charcoal/Grey color would be nice....they've done navy which I have and is nice.....Oh man, or even requesting them to do them in different fabrics would be sick. If TS did a Mechanics shirt in the WabiSabi fabric it would be ridiculous...

I'd pay $150 for that.

Is it just me or are the Taylor Stitch Rancourts more expensive/equivalent to custom Rancourts?

I said dark navy, dark oak brown, dusty blue/grey.

Is it just me or are the Taylor Stitch Rancourts more expensive/equivalent to custom Rancourts? Yeah, TS seems to have brain damage when it comes to pricing shoes in the Workshop. Rancourts aren't that hard to find on sale and are a bit hard to personally justify at full retail since they're not Goodyear welted.

I've corresponded with TS on several occasions, and truly believe that they listen to their customer base. I have no doubt that is why I saw the Mariner CPO return, as well as the Yosemite shirts. I have requested they make a run of chinos with buttons, but can't have everything I ask for, LOL

@davidlewis - while I agree they listen to their customers I disagree how. They listen based off sales. Popular offerings come back. Nuff said. It's a business move.

Just backed the good acre double knee pants, I'm still not 100% in love with the fit on anything I have so far. My wool suit from them should be here in about two weeks, I'm excited to see how TS stacks up against the others.

Backed the work chambray in navy. 9oz was just too good to resist. I really like the TS fit. I'm curious if they factor shrinkage into some of their sizing. I noticed that the chambray carries a 2 1/2" longer length than the sanded canvas mechanic shirt. Both seem to be casual shirts. The chambray fit is much more similar to their hyde shirts (awesome office shirts). Maybe they expect the chambray to shrink to a similar fit as the mechanic shirt. I'm referencing the 44 size. Interesting.

TS- shirts and jackets seem to be a good fit on me. Pants are a no go.

I couldn't see my girl dressing like that at all. I like the pants too. Summer is all about dresses.
