It's 1:50am and I'm taking fit pics for you guys, lol. My Japanese GF initially thought that I'm crazy and said NO when I asked her to take the pics..... Then, I explained "It's so my American fashion friends can learn the sense of high quality, Made in Japan clothes. After that, all was okay, lol! Damn UTG, all this makes me realize I got an old white man's ass! Those look pretty awesome. Interested to hear your more detailed thoughts after you wake up and shit! Well done man. Congrats.

Good fit. Not too slim which is good solid fit. Plus there is a bit of room for shrinkage.
Man I wish I didn't miss the 107 on Rakuten!

I believe Aero Leather suffered a similar fate, as it's conspicuous by its absence, which is weird considering its place in the market.

It turns out that the IH forum doesn't freely allow discussion of other brands in the other brands section of the forum… The Gustin thread was basically just given the boot for apparently no good reason. I am completely shocked. It was just after I mentioned the second run of the High-Density Coal Chore Coat AKA Ventile Chore coat. I rarely ever used the thread, but apparently even rarely was too much…. I love that on this forum we can discuss anything… Winterland Old26 ickesThank you guys so much for starting this Forum! Great fit BTW @untucked! I remember the last time that jacket was offered it ruffled a few feathers. There was debate on if it was real Vantile fabric and the use of the name. Does/Did IH offer Vantile?

Just got the EMS tracking number for my order from yesterday. Damn, it is fast. I placed my order in Rakuten from a Japanese store on Monday morning and my package is already at the USPS sorting facility in Chicago this afternoon. Amazing....

Obligatory "standing denim" pic... Pre-soaked, now I'm heading off to work. They will be ready for post-soak fit pics and wearing tonight. *BTW, the gorgeous belt in my fitpics is my Gustin Natural Heavyweight belt.

Iron heart uk forum is more of a retail stores forum. Like similar to Gustin's community. It isn't a fashion or denim forum. Giles sells IH and only IH to the rest of the world for a profit. I'm not surprised he didn't want Gusin talk there

Wow fellas...just received my IHSH-86 herringbone heavy flannel shirt and this thing is the best flannel shirt I have ever laid eyes on. Easily the best shirt in my closet BUT....the freaking thing is too small!!!! f!@k. lol...Looks like I'm an XXL in IH.
anybody know how good Self Edges return/exchange policy is?
Needless to say, Im sold on IH. I've got the IH bug and I am DEFINITELYbuying another IH shirt or ten in my future. I really hope SE has an XXL for me to exchange cause I love the color scheme on this shirt. Absolutely beautiful flannel.

Iron Heart and Aero have done collaborations in the past. Can't remember what happened as far as why they are not anymore. Yes they are doing collaborations with Alexander Leathers. Being a IH forum user I don't understand the censoring of the Gustin thread. They have many brands that are talked about in the forum besides IH. That is why they have an Other Brands Board. Doesn't seem fair as unnamed is a fan, as are many of us, of Iron Heart and spreads the word about them across the net.

I'm really bummed this thing doesn't fit Upon further inspection of the IH forums, I'm learning that there is a separate sizing chart for each item and each fabric option for each item.

wdw, what do you mean??? Where are they absent from? I mean the IH forum. I gather the Aero thread disappeared around the time of the management change, and was usurped by AL. Given IH's top quality reputation, I just found it odd that a top quality leather manufacturer no longer has a thread there. Maybe the view was that Aero became AL after the mass defection, but that's another story.

Is it weird that I think this seems like a logical thing from a Japanese company? Having lived in Okinawa for 2yrs now, it is ABSOLUTELY logical thinking for them. For high quality fashion, this is what a consumer wants... For day to day interaction in life, this is highly impractical and annoying.

Home from work... Jawnz = DRY (And "crispy"), but after measuring, shrinkage was minimal, to say the least... Fractions of and inch, all the way around. Giles himself said in the IH-666-XHS that about an inch of shrinkage should be expected in the inseam... An inch in the waist, also... I'm not saying anything is wrong with the jeans or denim. Just letting you guys know more fit pics are NOT coming tonight. I'm soaking again currently in HOTTER water (That rhymes!). After this and a dry, if they haven't shrank noticeably, expect these to go in the BST. I definitely expected a far more slim profile on these, by everyone's description... possibly my thighs are just too meaty for this cut. (THAT was my biggest reference point when checking the size chart. Next was waist)

I was never sure about IH fits. Which is like a 502 or Gustin slim?
