Just pulled the trigger on this www.ironheart.co.uk/jackets/ihv-02-blk.html via Rakuten. I wear waistcoats pretty frequently on "dress nice" occasions. I have a few with the more traditional satin back which is suiting inspired and always feels borderline too dressy for me. I'm always on the lookout for less formal waiscotats. Honestly, it was DD looking f@cking sharp at the beginning of this thread that put the whole thing in motion. I'd seen the IH version before but DD wears it in the style I like. You sold some Iron Heart today DD. Went with the sulfur black black but I'll likely grab the indigo version down the road as well. Get Roman to crank out some waistcoats in stuff other than denim (no hate just not in the market) and I'm all in, my bother.

This is fxxxing insane.... I ordered my IH shirt and vest from a Japanese store through Rakuten on this Monday morning around 10am. Fast forward on Thursday afternoon, I am now looking at those two items in front of me.. and they are perfect.... how can the package get here faster than things I ordered from Amazon? Wow.

I'm really bummed this thing doesn't fit Upon further inspection of the IH forums, I'm learning that there is a separate sizing chart for each item and each fabric option for each item. Not only different items but self edge and iron heart uk both have separate size charts. Also from Giles himself the western cuts run smaller than the work shirt cut.

@wils size? And any comparisons to say jcrew or Gustin in terms of fit. I'm a large in the 102 work shirt but it's snug thinking in an XL or XXL for other shirts.

For the two items above, I think the cutting is more slim and I feel the size of the IH is about half size smaller than my Jcrew slim fit shirt. To be more clear, I think Jcrew sz medium will be similair to IH sz large. Compare to the same size Gustin "button down", the cutting of the IH is definitely slimmer and the length is definitely shorter. If people fit well with the Gustin shirt midsection, I would be very concern to find the right size in IH.

This is consistent with what I found when comparing sizes and measuring stuff in my closet. Most vests/waistcoats I have are tagged at large or US 42/44. To get the same front and rear length from IH required an XL.
Thanks for posting pics wils

I am going to try to take some fit pictures of my IH Wabash and Gustin Hickory Stripe shirts today.
Btw, I was comparing them last night side by side and for $10-$30 difference in prices, I almost ordered three more IH shirts last night on Rakuten. Frankly, I have other purchases for the holiday and I am probably going to wait a bit.

I just received my IH waffle thermal henley from Rodeo Bros. I haven't opened it yet but I just want to echo @wils statements about the speedy delivery from Japan from Rodeo Bros. I ordered this shirt late Tuesday night, almost at midnight Az time and the package was on my doorstep this morning before noon. Amazeballs. Thats quicker than a good percentage of packages I get delivered from within the states.

I believe Aero Leather suffered a similar fate, as it's conspicuous by its absence, which is weird considering its place in the market. Oh, I think that's probably to do with Alexander Leathers partnership with IH. Doubt Aero would even want the association, tbh. Actually Aero & Iron Heart were collaborating for a long time. They did a jean together and leather jackets as well. They were a good partnership until the Aero management changed and IH got the boot when Aero referenced IH in the same sentence as some shit brand I cant remember

Well my IH thermal is awesome! Super thick, supreme quality, really nice waffle texture, cat eye buttons...It's everything I was expecting and the fit is spot on. This is how a thermal should be made. I'm trying to post pics but imgur is not cooperating and I don't know how to post them direct in this forum cause I'm a dork
