Dammit, don't tempt me man! That would be SO bad ass, but would def eat into my two new IH trucker budgetð€ ð you going for the cord and whipcord truckers? which color you gonna spring for in the cord? Undecided was leaning toward brown, but thats seems kinda similar to the olive which is a must cop, pluse @untucked kills it so hard in his cream cord trucker it'll be hard to pass up. Your going khaki too? Wonder if the khaki is the exact same as the untucked version?

yep, i'm leaning towards khaki, but i'll have to wait til the fit charts come in before I make a final choice. I think the khaki version untucked wears is the same as the new one coming out, but not absolutely sure. the olive whipcord is pretty badass too, sadly, I'm gonna have to pass on that one. If the olive whipcord proves successful and if giles decides to run more colors i'd be all in for a khaki whipcord version with brown cord collar. I know some might think that the khaki/brown variant is all too common but I think it's a classic colorway.

I don't recall how much it shrunk, but I have a 3sixteen henley, it did shrink up a bit. I went with an XL, which is what I have in the type3 if that advise is worth anything what's your height/weight? Sizing up seems the norm with 3sixteen stuff, so i'm curious if this holds true with their knits. 5'10 190. Tend to be a 42 in TS stuff, and between L/XL in IH. Chest/Shoulders are typically where i get hosed in these things, so focused mostly on those two when ordering. I'm also okay with the sleeves hitting just at wrists (maybe even short) i tend to pull those up. edit: To clarify - i do like the henley lots, but as ickes is clear, it can push short for me. With that said, if they go on sale during 3.16 days, I could find myself picking up another one.

iamnotRex great post! Love your humor thrown in--biker gang of two! Glad you went with their flag ship denim. That 21oz fabric is japanese baf assery at its finest. Feel you on the double cuff pain my 666S-21 hem is wide enough BEFORE I throw the double cuff on it, WITH it its at the extreme end of my wearable spectrum. Got em hemmed once but not short enough and am now at an inbetween length. IH store will be visited by me one day--hopefully in the not so distant future. I would have rode that electric stairway to heaven at least twice I AM NOT REX?! The jig is up! These 21oz jeans are interesting. They feel substantial while having very little "break-in." I can only imagine how nice they will feel after I have put months into them. The straight leg reminds me of the Oni straight leg...it really is straight. Takes some getting used to since all other companies have some taper in their straight jeans. Even Bravestarr has a "true straight" that has some taper. doesn't' sound true to me, ya dig? I rode that escalator about four times. I also second taking the trip to Japan. It is more than just jeans. I think that it would be a bit overwhelming for one trip...there is just too much stuff. It is easier for me since I can get to Tokyo from where I am for about $100-140 round trip. If I had to fly from the states every time I went to mainland, I probably wouldn't waste time going to just some silly small escalator. I, personally, love living here. I have never felt more at peace. It is a very polite society with helpful people and little violent crime. Remember, travel and adventure doesn't happen on its own. You have to make it happen. Hemming is a scary subject for me. I had a few that I got done too short and I feel such shame when I walk. Mostly on my left leg which must be longer because I set the hem from my right leg (used to) and the left always ended up feeling too short. Now I set the hem from my left leg. It is fun to learn new lessons.

I'm looking for a gray thermal henley. The IHTL-1213 seems to be the only one out there, maybe? Anyone have one of these? disheveled, you've been henley crazy lately, do you have one? My IH shirts are XXL, and I'd probably do a XL in this one.

nate001 No I don't own any IH henleys, and the grey will likely be my first as well. Maybe ickes can help you with sizing?

giles That is awesome and quite a honor! I love the close knit nature of your business--everyone seems to be flying together vs at each other's throats. Doubt I can swing the JP visit, but it's always fun to dream--esp cause the full line of AW samples will be done by then (I assume that's the timing/purpose of your trip) Looking forward to the big reveal.

My IH shirts are XXL, and I'd probably do a XL in this one. These can be a bit tricky to size, probably the trickiest item to size right IMO because of how stretchy the material is. I have a grey 1213 (that I actually should sell) and I sized down from my usual XL to a L and it's just a bit too short for my liking. To sum it up best and cut to the chase...I have white, black, grey, and Indigo dipped thermal henleys from IH in sizes ranging from L to XXL and overall I have found that sticking with my usual shirt size (XL) has been the best way to go. YMMV.

My IH shirts are XXL, and I'd probably do a XL in this one. I've got a couple of these in the grey, and black. They are a staple for me during the winter months. As far as sizing goes, I wear an XXXL in every IH shirt I own, and they are all Westerns. That said, I went with an XL in the thermal henleys, based on the fit guide. They are not long on the length, but do come down and cover the waist easily. You can play with this somewhat, as they do stretch out a bit with wear, and if you throw them in the dryer, they tighten back up nicely. If you hang dry them, then not so much. Highly recommended!

Ordered a grey thermal Henley last night in XL with a request to send the longest one they had in stock. This morning there was an email waiting for me from Paula saying they found one that was almost an inch longer than spec. Looks like it will arrive on Friday. Pretty good.

Looks a good length on Haraki. The medium does look a tad short for a modified. I've sized up on both my truckers, one modified one original.

Youre going same size as Alex ickes (XXL)? Shoulders are 20.3" Giles (in an XL) looks to be between sizes on this--could just be cause its unbuttoned though. Sam's large looks short, but he's fairly lanky compared to his width. Hope size L looks like Alex's does on me, that much UHF sticking out is AOK in my book, and less than my N-1 which I've grown to be comfortable with.
