I don't have a huge write-up right now, because I just came back from buying it while walking on the way to my favorite bar... But here's a teaser pic. Beach cloth vest! I also picked up a wabash vest and a salt n' pepper vest, too. Better pics wills come later, and a semi-descent review

If anyone has any particular questions or detail pics they'd like to request, feel free. I quickly tired of taking pics, and didn't feel like typing so much on my tablet or phone.

@untucked, I really like the last two; especially the wabash.
How's the fit? Are they on the slim side? What about length? A lot of shots I see of people wearing Japanese-made vests make me think they tend to sew up shorter than I would expect.

They fit wider than you would expect, but I think that is because they are cinch-back. The length falls exactly where you would expect a waistcoat to be; right around the belt line.
Best part is, I paid slightly over $500 total for all 3

I like that beach cloth vest a lot, but would prefer the squarer pockets of the IH version to use for carrying a phone and card holder. The only Rakuten place with my size won't ship to the UK, but I've asked Rodeo if they can get it in.

My phone (iPhone 6+), my cardholder (Gustin simple cardholder) and my vape (Sigelei 150w box mod) all fit comfortably in to their own best pockets, and there is an internal pocket, too. I actually never got the IH version, because I don't like the square, boxy look

Don't suppose you could throw up a pic or two?

Thanks untucked. That's really useful. The inner pocket is a nice touch.

Anyone have their jeans? Vari has a number of them for $111. I need to spend a few minutes ensuring those are the 50/50 blend of cotton and sugarcane, but if so, that's pretty tempting for a unique denim.

Absolutely love the sugarcane denim. But the cut is pretty old school (1947 501). So haven't put much wear on them yet.

Yeah you'll want to look for (I think) 2009 in the model number for a more modern fit. I think selfedge has a relatively easy way to compare the two fits if I remember right.

I've got a pair of their Self Edge SCxSE2 collab. Great pair of jeans from the fabric through to construction. The cut was their first ever slim fit... and they're probably the slimmest fitting pair I own.
