Anybody got a pair of Chippewa engineer boots? I've been seriously considering getting a pair, but as there are no stockists in Australia I'll need to get them online. Got to get the sizing bang on first time. I wear a UK/Aus 10, Euro 43/44, which I think is a US 10.5/11. The only pair of boots I have which width size is even an option I'm 1 size wider than the narrow option, i.e., standard, I think.. if that makes sense. Any help would be great. Yes. D is standard width. What do you wear in other boots? That would help in determining what size for Chippewa.

I wear a 10 (Aus/UK) in the RM Williams I wear most of the time. I've also got a pair of BedStuy boots that I got in the US that are a US 11 and labelled as a UK 10. These are big boots anyway, front heavy for sure, but I reckon I'd be better of with half a size smaller. If it means anything my Converse Allstars, one pair from the UK one from the US, both say they are both a 10 UK and 10 US. My hunch is that a 10.5 US in the Chippewa would fit. One day left on this great price at Shepler's! www.sheplers.com/Chippewa-Engineer-Boots-Steel-Toe/21076.pro?parentCategoryId=447&categoryId=0&subCategoryId=322

I found this pretty comprehensive size chart, took some measurements and went for the 10D which is true to size to my foot. They arrived way ahead of time, about 6 weeks before I was told to expect them. The length seems ok but they're too narrow. I might just about be able to break them in but I don't want to try, so they're going back across the old Pacific Ocean. I'm going to go for the 10.5E, giving an extra .3" width and .15" length.

Yes but that's because of width more than length. I bought chips in 8.5 and 9D because Jcrew doesn't stock wide widths. 9D worked out better. 8.5E-8.5EE on brannock depends on how swollen my feet are from walking etc. Honestly I could have probably done 8EE for the iron rangers. I would say the iron rangers are a little longer compared to the chips
