This is what I've been waiting for from LD

And at $157 for supima. Nice. Tempting. (That's what Gustin should have priced them at. $197 wasn't really compelling for a direct-to-consumer price.)

I'm honestly way more excited about what might be indigo sashiko or box weave fabric in the bottom right.

I fell for it again. Order 3334 (jeans). My infant son, who is six months old now, was born at the same weight/height as I was. I'm betting that when I'm dead and he's like later middle aged/nearing retirement, these jeans will come for him. And they f!@king better fit right. Because if they come with a magic markered out tag, and the current LD homies aren't dead by then too ... he's going to leave negative feedback. And this kid can fill a diaper with shit I tell you.

Would love to get this, eventually, but have realistic expectations.. this is really just me still holding out hope for the idea of Lawless.

Yeah.. you got on the bus before I did, but we're still on the same bus.. and LD is driving One of my biggest regrets from 2014 is not backing LD's Kickstarter =P Hey guys, we're helping LD stay afloat long enough to crank out some more orders.. what'd you do today?

Any excitement I may have had about this is wiped out by the fact we now know LD have been dicking around trying to make denim rather than make the orders they've already taken people's money for (four or five months ago).
This all just smacks of, 'Thanks for the cash, guys, we're having so much fun here. Your jeans? Oh, er, yeah, um, we're just ordering a bunch of those digital 88 style size labels so we can black marker them to read any waist size we need to'

Yeah, this is..interesting. I can't find any information on 'American Selvedge Co' but I can tell you this, it is a new 'company' recently started/showed up online. The domain appears to have been registered a year ago, updated late February. No other info I can find.

Order #3326. Considering its spring I will be ready to wear 24(?)oz jeans by September in WI. KS discount made me risk it. Not sure if it's a good or bad thing that they put the expected ship time 20+ weeks away....

At best they have all the fabric made. At worst they have nothing. If the fabric was made, they'd know the weight. Instead, they're saying they'll hopefully get it within 10% either way. This will be an interesting ride in 6 months or so.

If you look at the logo, site design, picture style, etc., it's obvious to me that they're sister companies. The collaboration is with Supima.. I'm on my mobile so can't conveniently read all the material, but I didn't get the vibe that they were trying to pawn ASCo off as an unaffiliated entity or their collaboration partner.

'LD&Co. is proud to announce their partnership between American Selvedge Co. and Supima® Cotton to bring you the United State’s first American made 24 oz. Indigo Dyed Selvedge Denim - Collectors Edition.'
I read that as they are partnering with two other companies to create the denim, neither one of which they have anything to do with/don't own. This is a bit shady, don't you think?
Here is an example:
I run a training facility catered to powerlifting and weightlifting. Let's call that 'Ukrainian Training Systems'.
I also offer nutrition advice, that the public did not know existed, perhaps it was off the grid, not online, or just not well known. The 'Ukrainian Training Systems' clients did not know it existed, either. Let's call that 'Soviet Diet Systems'
I announce a partnership on my 'Ukrainian Training Systems' page:
'Ukrainian Training Systems is proud to announce their partnership between Soviet Diet Systems and Buckwheat® Grains to bring you the United State’s first Ukrainian made, healthy, hearty Organic Training Feed - Elite Performance Supplements.'

Who are you? Putin? There will be no collaborating between the two, soviet diet systems would obviously take over both companies with violence and kill any dissenters with poison. Buckwheat grains has always been part of soviet diet systems, and will not allow any other opinion.
