Showing off these Greats Brand Royales. Love these shoes and they are comfortable right out of the box. Their website says to size down by a half size but when I tried that they were too small, so I returned them for these 9's.

So you'd recommend these? Also, you said you ordered a 9 so for reference what size do you wear in Vans?

They are comfortable right out of the box and they turn heads. I wear a 9 in Vans too. The thing is, they say to size down a half size from usual. I tried that (ordered them in 8.5), and they were too tight around the pinky toe because the cap is pretty narrow--I have fairly narrow feet too, so it wasn't a matter of that.

I was excited to see Valentino Garavani on Myhabit until I saw the price. I was so coping it if it is in the $300's range.

Anyone get an email about the Jack Purcell Signature Collection at Haberdash? They look pretty nice. Considering getting the all whites, even though I'm terrible at maintaining clean shoes.

This stuff is better than your friend, it's your saviour: jasonmarkk.com/collections/products/products/3691-4-oz-premium-kit-1I recently managed to get some indigo bleed out of some very light grey rough suede on a pair of trainers. The stuff is brilliant, but I really didn't hold out much hope in that instance. After two sessions with the Jason Markk liquid there's not even the tiniest hint of blue remaining. Honestly, it's a pretty amazing product.

It depends on several variables (what the stains are, how ingrained they are, material they're on, colour of material, etc.) but I've had some incredible results from it on older pairs that I've bought for my collection that have been many years old and were made to look virtually boxfresh using Jason Markk.
You may well need to do two or three applications over a day or two but it's worth it. The liquid probably won't last for 100 pairs, as they claim, but I've treated at least 25 pairs so far and the bottle is just over half full. Several of those pairs I've treated twice.
The company actually offers a full cleaning/restoration service and their results are breathtaking. There are plenty of videos online. You maybe can't get quite the same results at home but it's really not far off.
Given it's inexpensive, I'm always amazed when people who are into their trainers say they've never used/owned it. A true 'must-have' in my opinion.

Thanks julian . The new jack purcell kicks look good. $95 is nuts though. I bought the acorn suede ones from SS14. I like them but they aren't s $95 shoe.

End Clothing is offering free worldwide shipping at the moment, saves a significant chunk if you're ordering from the US.

Finally ran down a pair of the Polartec Chucks from Bodega in Boston who had them for 50% off. I assume it will be a while until they dig their way to a post office.

Talking of New Balance, my next purchase is definitely going to be the new Concepts X New Balance 997s... well, that's if I can get in quickly enough with my size before they sell out. Absolutely stunning.

There are some seriously cool NB here but the lack of Onitsuka Tigers will eventually invalidate this thread.
edit: Ducking and running now.

It is surprising that Tigers haven't come up. I'm not a big Asics fan and prefer Puma Whirlwinds. Doesn't hurt that I have a few pairs leftover from indoor soccer.
