Anyone know anything about The Hill Side sneakers? I know nussing. I almost bought a pair of the Hill Side indigo sashiko sneakers that were on sale via Unionmade not too long ago but backed out of it, mainly because I thought it would look weird wearing indigo sashiko sneakers with denim. |

Anyone know anything about The Hill Side sneakers? I own a pair of Hill Side chucks, they are vulcanized rubber, made in japan, nice if you can get them for sale at $80-$70 a pair. Definitely not worth it at $180, nothing that special about them. I believe I read somewhere they are made by the same factory as shoes like pottery (http://shoeslikepottery.com/en/), if you want to have another option. They run pretty big, so size down. |

Those didn't actually get a general release though, as far as I know. Just 100 promotional pairs, right? Definitely, if I were one of those 100 people, I wouldn't wear those, lol! It's not often that I justify resellers, but in this case I would totally do it after a few years

It's about time I grow up and beyond my Chucks.
So I'm thinking about buying a pair of Chromexcel Trainers.
My question is, Do you guys wear your Leather High Tops in the Summer?
I'm trying to decide between a High Too or Low.

Your summer ain't like my summer. I wear low top chucks with no socks or flip flops. If I had your summers, I'd probably roll Rancourt low tops with shorts and high tops with jeans.

Seems like low tops would be more versatile. High tops and shorts...not so much. Low tops and pants are fine.

I like the look of leather high tops with jeans and a single cuff, lows not so much.
I guess if it was summer and hot I'd most likly wear my chucks with shorts.
