It hit 65 degrees here in the DC area yesterday. Reality is about to hit soon, but enjoyed the nice weather while it lasted. Reality here is that it's getting up to the 60s, then every five days it snows. Hopefully it's a wet spring otherwise national news is gonna be all about Colorado on fire this summer. |

Apparently Phoenix didn't get the memo that it's suposed to still be winter in February. I went to a friends Bday party on Sunday, 83 degrees and the kids were swimming. It's freaking February!! Would it kill us to have a little bit of a winter Phoenix??

Apparently Phoenix didn't get the memo that it's suposed to still be winter in February. I went to a friends Bday party on Sunday, 83 degrees and the kids were swimming. It's freaking February!! Would it kill us to have a little bit of a winter Phoenix?? I could scrape together a little winter for you. How many inches of snow would you like? I've got 36 or so to spare.  |

-2 tonight without wind chill.....
Tomorrow we get another 9-12" of snow with gusts up to 70MPH..... Love life.

Record high 70 degrees in Minneapolis today. Wow. Snow basically all gone.
We could get spoiled.
Ice fisherman are having to get their fish houses off the ice in a hurry.

Yesterday was awesome in Chicagoland. Today it's cold, er, cooler, again; but yesterday I had on my Heavy Americans and was outside cleaning up the yard, clearing out the garden area, and generally having a great time with my two little sons.

I'm still wearing my Pike Brothers N-1 Deck jacket with Alpaca lining (shameless name drop Bring the Mud and Pot Holes already! Last year, it snowed through April. In DC, it was snowing Friday, 60s yesterday and 50s today, but pretty windy. When the clouds hid the sun, it felt like it was in the 30s. It's supposed to hit 70s during the week, but then drop back down to the 40s and 50s for a while. Typical DC weather.

Where do live? Northern Virginia, right outside of DC. It's never over in the northeast until it suddenly locks down at 80+ degrees. Spring is never as long as I wished it be. |
