One thing to note, all of their pics are of bikes made by a certain US motorcycle manufacturer or customs build around aftermarket V twins based on said companies design (S&S etc). I have no idea if there is a connection to LD's ashes and at this point I don't even think I care BUT the culture and style of the site photography is very different with respect to motorcycles.
They aren't going to get 50k by November 2016 much less this year so I think this will resolve on it's own.

Ciano is currently offering that fabric, and I think gustin just wrapped up a campaign. You could probably ask Ciano where he bought it, but this would hardly be incriminating since everyone is buying it. If they're pending Kickstarter funds to buy it they might be in trouble when it comes to fulfillment, since they won't receive funding until about 2-3 weeks after the campaign funds, if it makes it at all.

At this point, I'm more concerned about their campaign closing around thanksgiving, and they're indicating they will be shipping rewards in December. They won't even have the funds until the end of the first week in December. I wouldn't back that campaign for the complete lack of details as to how they're actually manufacturing, it looks like a management nightmare, which may actually be more incriminating than anything else.
I think this is just another example of a poorly planned Kickstarter campaign in front of a maybe better organized company. It could be proven that lawless has nothing to do with this and I'd still avoid that campaign like the plague.

How's it going everyone!!! I got an email from Digdug from this forum and BOY OH BOY am I glad I found you all!! My names Daniel and I am the owner and creative director of Feltraiger. If you check out @dan_feltraiger on instagram you can get a better idea of what lead me here but basically it seems like the Lawless crew and the Freeridersco Crew are one in the same.
Due to the fact that I am coordinating a lawsuit against Jamison I dont want to spill too many details because I know he is a member of the forum. I will be contacting the admins to see if we can remove him and make this private for the time being, otherwise there is not much info i can spill publicly....
What I will say is this. Jamison was my friend. When he worked as Whiskey Grade we were going to work on a collaboration together on a vest, my vest, that I personally designed and produced and did not come from Carhartt or Levis or anything else... out of my head! I sent him a vest so he could start brainstorming and we could be begin the collaboration. Well needless to say he was fired from Whiskey Grade and nothing ever came of it...
Two days ago I see a copy of that very vest, hanging from Jamisons bike, on a companys page called @freeridersco. I reach out to Jamison and he denies it all, says he has been working for the company as a consultant but that is it and they must of seen him in the vest and ripped it off, and just kept repeating that he didn't own the company so i couldn't sue him... He offered to give up the owner and gave me an address, phone number, guys name, and name of the corporation, all which were fake and lead nowhere. I did a lot of research and found a number of things that tie him to the company as more than a consultant, one of which you guys already found which is the fact that Freeriders and his other company that he is listed as the owner of on his linked in page, are both owned and protected by the same company. Another is the fact that once all this drama started, an Instagram account called @freerider_j with the same picture as Jamisons personal instagram account blocked me. Weird huh? Ya and the icing on the cake is I have been told by other people in the industry that want to remain anonymous that Jaimson is infact a part owner of the company and I was shown physical proof.
I am currently working with a IP lawyer as well as a criminal lawyer to create both and IP case as well as a criminal case since they admitted to ripping me off and then continued to use the product again after agreeing to cease and desist, both seem to be turning into very strong cases with all the research I have gathered, and now after finding this forum it looks like there is a ton more ammo and a ton more people I can name in this suit.
Im wondering how many people here would be interested in a class action suit agains these criminals! I am also in the process of getting in touch with kickstarter to discuss this issue with them, not sure if anyone noticed but the name tied to Freerides account is a girl named Theresa Roxane something, that ring any bells? I did some research and it ties to a Facebook page for Freeriders but it only has one picture and was started only a few days ago. Im going to continue digging and begin research on lawless to see where there are more links...
Jamison lives in Arizona now, but I'm also working with my network of pattern makers to see if we can figure out who is producing their goods...
Any help would be appreciated, my email is Daniel@feltraiger.com

Welcome Daniel, sorry your in this position. But as you now know these are some very unscrupulous people. We had hoped after we exposed Resavoir1885 that was the end of these Rats but it's looking more like it's going to be Whack a Mole.

Well, I'd like to keep some of the stuff top secret I have some great companies that i worked with in the past on editorials and we are planning on some great collaboration pieces. A couple that are close to me, Feltraiger here in Cali (great dudes) and hopefully putting out boots / accessories too. Although I relocated to the west coast from the freezing Boston area, I still want to put out some great waxed canvas jackets and some heavy-er-weight denim them I'm used to working with (14.5oz) I'm hopin to grab some 20+ oz denim and try to put out some awesome stuff. My favorite brand currently is Iron Heart. Gaining some inspiration from them, maybe a little from Eat Dust. Hoping to line some of the jackets with our friends from Fairbault Mills too. We will see. This is a side project. I parted ways with Whiskey Grade when i sold the name to Tom and Sean in Ohio so I'm hoping to move forward and start something new. Sorry for all the confusion. I hope this doesn't wreck my name right out the gate! Well isn't that funny! A mention of my brand and possible collaboration that i mentioned in my last post on here... Anyone doubting this kid is a complete scumbag is way off. I spoke to someone that has worked with him previously and described him as "the kind of crazy they make movies about" haha. I feel like I'm being catfished and Jamison is pretending to be a bunch of different people...

Also Roman comes from San DIego. This is without a doubt him. Pay attention to how many followers Lawless had in all those months and then look at how recent this new thing came about. Look at all the followers and likes they got. I would think they payed for followers and likes to fudge perception a bit Def Roman in one way or another This same thing was done with Freeridersco. Look through their followers, all bought.

Is it the norm for all these start up denim company's to resort to fbombs all over social media when called out on anything or is it just the ones that tend to show up in this thread?

Yeah, I asked on their instagram to confirm whether they are associated with Roman Acevedo, and initially they said, "No idea who that is, we are not associated with him." Then two hours later is the irate reply posted above. Seems to be a pattern (no pun intended).

These guys are ridiculous. What I'm finding confusing about this new thing is that they are acting like a company with a launched line, but at the same time have a Kickstarter campaign running that seems to indicate that they're a new startup. I guess we have the answer in Jamison's involvement, though, and I'd have a hard time supporting him in an endeavor since he came here and started lying about what he was doing, and was caught within the day, admitting he had attempted to mislead. Regardless of motivation, it's hard to support that. danfeltraiger - I would recommend against mentioning them by name here, as it is unlikely to help your case(s). Know that these threads are public and actively monitored by people attached to lawless and perhaps other endeavors.

I have serious reservations about all these new companies based on the Lawless disaster, independent of who is associated.

I have serious reservations about all these new companies based on the Lawless disaster, independent of who is associated. Yeah, me too. I've had enough of all that and won't get involved again for the foreseeable future. For now, Ciano, IH and Aero cover all my clothing needs, so I don't need to risk wasting time and money on new starters with no pedigree.

I have zero interest in supporting this kickstarter, especially given the questionable behavior the management appears to be showing by hiding all of the ownership/location details. If it hasn't been pursued already, I hope that any of the people with significant outstanding orders speak up to the media in Phoenix/LA/wherever - it's about time this fraud gets exposed.

Maybe discussion of these other LD re-branding companies should be moved into their own threads under the Lawless Denim section of the forum for easier access/to un-clutter this thread. Thoughts Winterland ickes Old26 ? We're talking behind the scenes to see what we can & should do here fellas. As you all know, it's a hella mess. Trying to be fair whilst sorting through it all...
