Not really. A lot of people lost a lot of money due to Roman Acevedo either lying/cheating them out of it or stealing it outright, or through sheer incompetence. Either way, Roman Acevedo is responsible for a lot of missing money from a lot innocent peoples' pockets. That's not funny. So if Reservoir 1885 and Jamison Aweau of Whiskey Grade whiskeygrade.com are in league with Roman Acevedo of Lawless Denim (ra-denim.com ldandco ld&co Lawless Denim & Co.) to start up a new business, that needs to be known by everyone so people can go in to a purchase from that brand with eyes wide open to how Roman Acevedo previously ran a business. So, that brings me to the real point...you have yet to actually answer this question: are you working with Roman Acevedo in any way at all (is he an owner of Reservoir 1885, is he a partner, is he providing advice; is Roman Acevedo associated with Reservoir 1885 in any fashion whatsoever?)?

It's time to sort this shit out. I understand if Dirty doesn't want to give up his source but I'm willing to show my cards (and a whole lot more). BTW this is the post that gets me temporarily banned, so if you're below 18 (16 in Europe) stop reading now.
Three nights ago I was doing 'Bethany' doggystyle bent over the handlebars of You-Know-Who's CX500 while he was out posing for some new publicity pics (I had to throw a couple of shopping bags over her head, but I'm easy), and as I was busting a ***, I yelled, 'Where's my money?!' I meant it like in a pimp way (hell she TOLD me to say it), but you know what? The Queen of Customer Service screamed: 'OHSHITWHISKEYGRADE!'
Water ain't wet and Trump is actually a woman, and if you doubt me, PM and I'll send you the video. It's a little shaky and dark but I'm the one in the executioner's mask wielding a tire iron if you couldn't tell (hell yeah she likes it rough!). The other dude remains anonymous by request. Ah what the hell ... it's Old26.
Mods, if ya take this post down I'll understand ... ah shit, if you take this down you only prove that you LOVE ROMAN ACEVEDO! Come on, you know that your responsibility has to give way to justice and truth! And I, JBC, the dark knight of denim, AM that justice! I just crossed the line AHHHHH!

I hear you, I was a stickler with Whiskey Grade on order fulfillment. I'm sorry you guys lost money on stuff you purchased and never received. I've talked to Roman roughly 8 months ago regarding LD&Co, possibly before any of this stuff came about. Roman does not work for / with Reservoir 1885. I'm going to disconnect from the forums and put out product that it looks like Roman could not and in a timely manner as I've always done with Whiskey Grade. Associate me with him or not, buy product from me or not, but I'm going to do my best to create a great product. Thanks guys. Ok. I thank you for answering the question. EDIT: Not saying I buy it. Not saying I don't. But you answered, and that's all I can ask of you. Time will tell.

I have no affiliation at all with with this man or the fashion/textile industries. Likely will never buy anything from him. I just don't like to see a guy tried and sentenced based on an accusation. Jamison was hired on to re-brand. Plain and simple. I know this to be true. And the hammer drops. Shows over folks, be sure to tip your waiter on the way out and drive safely.

regarding Reservoir 1885, if this RA-poison isn't stirred into the mix, then best of luck to them. There seems to be a lot of coincidental evidence against the claim there are no ties, though, and it's starting to look like that's the company launching the Ready to Wear collection in September. The timing and the coincidental evidence (including the shots of Steve McQueen and other copyrighted images that were removed from instagram in the last 24 hours) is just way too much to ignore. Hell, "tolaurawithlove" being a follower when the brand was just thought up in the last month is almost enough evidence. If this is all speculation and Reservoir has nothing to do with any of this, then I apologize for my prejudice against the brand, but with the number of coincidences I don't think they're something I'd consider putting money into unless they make the LD&CO/Lawless mess right as part of their launch. I would like to know what experience they have with those looms they shared a picture of, and where those looms are located.
I know I have a hard time trusting clothing manufacturers coming around as startups, and I'm pretty well done pre-funding them unless it's with a company with a well established track record (pretty much limited to Gustin, Taylor Stitch, Ciano Farmer, F&T, and Epaulet) and a demonstrated solid understanding of how these things work. I love kickstarter, but the guys out there that see it as a way to fund a half-thought-through business model really create a lot of problems for the truly innovative designers working through the model. Then on top of that, you have the garment/shoe industries where everyone involved in the production is trying to sneak in tricks to speed production or make it cheaper, and hiding that from their partner that placed the order. The deck is stacked against the anonymous supporter when an industry is so lacking in scruples.
I've been burned by two different kickstarter companies out of the more than 100 different projects I've backed. I didn't back Lawless on kickstarter but then went ahead and ignored the warning signs that kept me out of the ks campaign when they launched the "real" site. Trusting in Lawless Denim, Roman Acevedo, and LD&CO is the most expensive mistake I've made online in a long time, and luckily my loss wasn't that great. I'm not going to go out supporting the little guy as much anymore, which I think is the true loss in this equation.

Funny she tagged RAWRdenim lol Let me just say Khala is NOT the person who told me about Reservoir 1885. In fact I had no idea about it until u guys figured it out after the email bounce back. I was quickly able to put it all together because i knew Jamison was linked to Roman . Of coutrse I also have someone else who confirmed it to be a 100% definite

Just reading up on the latest...You've got to be effing kidding me...Does he really think he can get away with this? Roman, if you read this, you should try a different business, you'll never make it the denim world. It's a fairly small community...You'll be found out and exposed. BTW WHERES MY SHIT?

It's pretty funny that he thought he could rebrand his company and send a new face in here without us figuring it out. Should we feel like our intelligence has been insulted?

Well I personally can't wait for reservoir1885 to get those kevlar jeans out there on the market!!! r1885.website/wp/index.php/shop-2/There's definitely a void in supply of kevlar jeans out there since LD&Co took a shit on everyone's face. Hmm, seems like kind of a coincidence though...naaaaah, nobody would try to lie to us about their products/company around here.
