Got an update on my KS (YAY!) and it looks like my stuff is in cutting and going out soon. Yes I've heard that before but my Spidey senses tell me this time the info is legit as I think LD is giving it their all to get over this order backlog. Meanwhile, I'm turning into that guy. Emailing every day asking for an update and still waiting for an update. I turned into that guy. Ya know what? If you have a KS campaign, then run a huge sale, then another huge sale and orders are being received all out of order, you'd better nut up and get ready for a lot of inquiries. Business isn't for wussies. I'm glad I got an update, wish LD mass success and have zero regrets for bugging them nor do I have any concern about what anyone thinks of customers inquiring about orders. It's just life. Call 'em...it's your money.

Silly questions here, but im curious: 1) Has anyone ordered the $69 non-customized jeans within their orders? Just wondering if anyone went the easy route on any pairs 2) Dont they have piles of jeans in their store front? Can you just call and order a pair in your size and have them sent to you? Everything I've ordered went uncustomized: shirts, leather jacket, pants and best. So far, I only have the shirts and jacket, and they fit me GREAT. The wonders it'd having a vertruvian physique, lol

Seems like Lawless has a ton of excuses... Wondering if they're legit excuses?

Give them a ring Laura is helpful.
I have no complaints at all.
Jeans and a shirt on 11/2.
Shirt is in the air now. Jeans unsure.
I will say lawless and ciano I give more leeway to since they are custom orders instead of just picking a size off a chart ala Gustin. At the 8 week mark I sent a message about the order. Sal quickly got back to me. No complaints at all.

I fully understand the initial timelines were not met, but it's been put out time and time again that they are behind but catching up. New timelines have been implemented. A mass email was sent out informing of this. It's been stated on this forum MANY times. Get over yourselves and wait in line, or get a refund. I honestly stay away from the forum lately because I'm tired of the belly aching.

I generally don't talk about delivery times - been doing this for about 1.5 years now, but I think folks have a right to know what's up with their money. Not everyone here is a guy with way too much money to spend, and every vendor owes it to their customers to fess up. It can go over the top for sure, but I don't see anyone here being unfair.

My point is that LD&Co. has fessed up though. And, if the money is the point, get a refund. Why CHOOSE to keep waiting, but complain about it the entire time?

Why CHOOSE to keep waiting, but complain about it the entire time? i fully expect people to vent about the wait. for the most part people are just anxious to get their gear and that's bubbling up. others are frustrated that they haven't been able to get status. yes...LD has stated here and via email that they're behind, but they've also indicated a 8-10 wk window, 10-12, 12-14....etc...many here are well past that 14wk mark and wondering where they are in line. of course the 3 different order/delivery streams, multiple product designs, and plethora of size charts have just added to everyone's anxiety. if you notice the grumbles get a bit louder whenever someone posts up photos of what they've gotten. it's a reminder that they're pumping out good looking stuff, and again...everyone is anxious to get theirs. it'll all cool down, but you can't blame customers for trying to hold vendors to their timeline claims and then inquiring once they're slipped.

I've been trying to ignore the wait times and this thread in particular because the non-stop questions are getting out of hand. I want to bitch but I know it's not very productive. Like everyone else, I just want to see how my British millerain lined cruiser turns out

In my case, I took items in trade for work performed and those items do not have an associated order number (an oversight of the old system). So I really have no way of knowing what those item's statuses are without updates from LD. That is why I'm a little antsy.

Also, let's give credit where credit is due. Sal has been working endlessly to figure out the logistics of everyone's orders and he's doing the best he can under the circumstances. If I were him I'd be totally stressed out from all of this, but let's also show some appreciation for the work he's doing to get things moving

I'll definitely post a review once it arrives. I don't really need another waxed jacket but I like variety and the price was indeed too good to pass up

The thing is, refunds are not always followed through with. Emails go unanswered or not addressed. I asked for a refund twice while waiting for my jeans, only to be ignored or told "please be patient"

i've got #222 (11/2) and #747 (11/5) with no movement on production. i don't think we can really gauge anything by what order numbers have been shipped since they're bouncing around quite a bit depending on number of items in an order, type of product, customization options...not to mention lingering KS and old site orders (can't wait until those are all out the door) We are already making order 222

Hey Sal, my girlfriend is driving me crazy, have you seen one of these two items ? They're both marked as awaiting fulfillment. By the way she really appreciates the help provided for the sizing. Don't know if it was you or someone else. it was apparently a person who used to work for Edwin. Thank you guys, that means a lot. Order #604, 4th Nov 2014 1 x 12 oz. Cone Mills Double Selvedge Women's Jeans (Women Jeans Style: Slim Straight, Waist: 27, Inseam (inches): 30, Hardware: Copper, Thread Color: Copper, Denim Tag: Koi, Jeans Fly: Button Fly, Pocket Liner: Red Canvas, Chain-Stitch Hem: Double Chain-Stitch Hem) Order #619, 4th Nov 2014 1 x 13.5 oz. Kaihara Mills 2x1 Twill Women's Jacket (Jacket Style: Classic Denim Jacket, Size: Small, Button: Copper, Thread Color: Copper, Pocket Liner: Red Canvas) Hey bud. We are not up to those orders as of yet. Orders through the 200's are in right now. Production is currently cutting and sewing 100-430

Any clue as to what order numbers we're at now in terms of production? I'm 758 on 5 November, so 12 weeks and counting, and guess I'm looking at another 4 at least. What's the highest order number any one has just now? With hindsight, the 50% sale was madness when they weren't even on top of KS, and there's still the question of meeting specs even when you get your order. still waiting on 116, but from the updates I'm expecting that my customization options are one of the primary reasons there are no more customization options, so I don't know when to expect them. 116 is def in at the moment I saw these orders almost done Thomas Buolo 11684 Japan dova (almost done Doug Graves 11664 6oz brit millrain green almost done Niphon Menpu maybe done today Ickes 131 sewing in shirt completion section Todd F order 118 8.5 oz almost done 14 oz black slub (needs buttons) matt order 117 Chambray almost done (thats all I saw so far Jon B #133 2 Omaha's are cut and and pieced together but need pieces to be put together Kit B 11687 grey millrain just about done Tim Montgomery 11678 2 shirts 1 light indigo jean (DONE) I am looking for more so give me some time to find as much as I can. Sorry if I have been MIA but I came here for specific business which is now finito

The thing is, refunds are not always followed through with. Emails go unanswered or not addressed. I asked for a refund twice while waiting for my jeans, only to be ignored or told "please be patient" To answer why we are holding onto refunds for a few days is because some have charged back and also asked to receive refunds . I go in and process the refund off a message request but find out the customer also charged it back. That means double the money is held on our end. We need to wait for the batches to come in b4 we do it. Once something like that happens we have to go through this week long process to free up the money which takes me away from doing things I need to be doing like push things along. Do not think we are not refunding because we are definitely doing it.

I guess the point I was getting at is that order number isn't a sure fire way to determine where you're at in terms of someone specifically getting their order.

I'm on Vacation but wanted to let all know that LD/Sal have checked in with me about my Big Shirt (not sure what happened with sizing and i don't care). But they are making it right/good.
LD is a bunch of good guys/girls working hard (they got a little a ahead of them selfs). But I'm very happy to have invested my money and time (I get that that may not work for everyone) It'll all come together for them.
