hi everyone.
i think i just go as 'sean' on the gustin community pages. think i've spent more money in the last year on gustin/other made in america brands than the rest on any clothing at all, ever. keep discovering stuff that looks just absolutely fantastic and i love the manufacturing transparency and character of some of these businesses. i'm in australia, and we don't really have anything like it here - correct me if i'm wrong!

Hi All,
Just a quick hello and thanks!
I have really enjoyed all the great opinion and insight shared on this forum and look forward to new brands and products being discovered and discussed.
About me: I live in L.A. and work in automotive advertising but grew up in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I am a big fan of all things selvedge, small batch, made in U.S.A etc.
Thanks again!

Hello all. Found the site after searching for the old Gustin community which I guess is now defunct. I'm also flashback on SF since '05 or so… nice to meet u all. I live in LA and work in Music. Got my first pair of Gustin's recently and while they are gorgeous, I didn't quite get the fit right, so if you're interested in a size 33 slim #17 Super Heavy I'm gonna post it up on the FS board.

Hi there,
My name is Joakim, I live on the Swedish westcoast! Some of you might recognize me from the TFL forum. I have been a denim and leather collector since the 80's. Selling it all of, recollecting it, selling it all of, blah blah. Seems like I can't get rid of the "Denim demon". I love well made stuff, stuff thats made to function, not just for fashion!!!
Cheers Joakim

Welcome wildballs. Fedora lounge is a very knowledgeable forum. We hope to follow in the footsteps of great forums that have preceded us while putting our own twist on things.

I've been around this board and the Gustin one a bit, but I thought I'd introduce myself since I'm having kind of a lazy sunday.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. Mexican. Mid-30's.
I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Westwood. I've taught composition and college freshman English before. I've had a variety of jobs. I used to work at Home Depot, and also had a previous career as an Industrial Machinist, (CNC set-up operator), though I also worked in the tooling department as a helper for a bit.
I don't wear denim pants. I wear a lot of Chinos though, and denim jackets. Thus, I'm a bit of an oddball here.

Don't have to wear denim pants to hang out here, or any pants for that matter.

Hello Gustinfriends,
I'm just breaking into the raw denim market and have started to acquire a few pairs of Gustin jeans. I've been reading this forum for a while now, mostly the sell/trade postings, and decided its time to join.

Hey all! I've been lurking for quite some time, but thought it was time to register an account and try to contribute. I'm not really a denim-head. I don't go in for sick fades or anything like that. But, I like sturdy, quality clothing, and am at a point in life where I can pay a little extra to support quality goods from small American companies. I really like the variety coming out of Gustin and the service and ideas coming out of Lawless. I look forward to seeing what else comes from them, and others like them that build from their ideas. This has been a passionate, but tolerant and friendly community so far, which is pretty rare for the internet. I look forward to what comes from this community as well.
