Most of their fits are very traditional with amusingly large cuffs. I took one look at those and knew they'd never work for me. I'm still debating a pair of the 15oz S0511XX, but those and the Yamato are the only ones that come close to a modern fit.

I've been all about straight fits with a low rise lately. I think I've realized they are the most flattering for me cuffed high or no cuff, whatever I'm feeling. Look at how ridiculous these bad boys are. Starting to take a shine to them.  |

If you've never had or seen a pair of Samurai in person I strongly suggest them. Little details are hidden everywhere (if you like that sort of thing). |

Those deep pocket bags probably just pushed me over the edge. Even though I'm replacing the iPhone 7 Plus with an X this weekend, fixing the root of the problem anyway.

I switched to the back left for the phone, keys on a bottle hook.
Pockets are something I'm picky with too. I can't stand unusable pockets on anything and like to put my hands in them or use them when needed. If the 711 fit has nice pockets I'm sure the other models do too if I'm a guessing man.

I use to have the 710, it had a fairly trim leg opening if I'm remembering right if you're after a slim taper look. Rise is touch higher too. |
