That brown one is very nice for sure I hadn't seen that type of "quilted" fabric before. I'm confident that i'll like the white and took a risk on the brown--living on the wild side! I'll post my impressions when they arrive next week.

That's an awesome shirt man! Where you buy it from? Thanks man. Denimio.com--but their site is acting funky (right now) and not loading properly or I'd have given you the direct link It fits snug and one might think of sizing up, but I'm happy with my standard Japanese size (large) just know if you have big arms it might be tough.

What size are you in other brands? Sammy always looked slim. Just like flat head.

Cool, man; you definitely should. Its tough to get much detailed info about the products beyond rough google translations, so getting some face time with a knowledgeable employee would be awesome. They seem to work with some unique and traditional fabrics and certainly are not afraid of getting funky with the style. And please, do share some photos if you pop in

I received my type II samurai jacket (S0552XX) a couple days ago. Can't wait to break it in EDIT* Buying this jacket solidifies that I'm too big for Japanese brands and will probably stick to MTO from indigogene or some of the Indonesian brands

I'm thinking about it but the denim is so nice. I wish it was an inch or 1.5 inch longer and the chest was a tad wider, but I'm going to rock with it. Maybe if i drop a few more pounds it will feel better

I'm really enjoying these Samurai S711VX 17oz jeans... Very comfortable, already feel broken in and soft. Great "adult" slim fit. Samurai may be my new favorite denim brand. These pictures are taken at right around 20 wears. These have been light wears as well, just around the house or the occasional trip to the mall. These seem to fade fast. Can't wait to see them around six months.

yinzer, could you share what sort of shrink you got with a soak and what kind of stretch you've seen since? Kinda caught between two sizes and leaning towards the smaller, but want to confirm there a little stretch post soak.

Are you looking at the 711vx or a different fit?
I bought them one wash from Blue In Green, waist stretched about 1-1.5 ish on the waist. Thighs didn't stretch too much, or to the point it was really noticeable.
These are the 17oz "Zero" denim.

Also, the lower leg on this pair is looser than a lot of popular fits. Which is why I like it. I wouldn't say the knee or hem changes at all as far as post stretch. Sorry I couldn't comment on shrinkage from the raw state.
