Well, I resorted to putting my Loomies on the bay. Just for reference, here are the post-soak measurements of a 40 slim. They were right in that they shrunk about 2 sizes. If I would have went with a straight fit, I'd be golden. The quality is nice.
Measurements after 1 soak:
Waist 38
Front rise 10
Back rise 14
Thigh 22
Knee 18
Leg opening 16
Inseam 36

Well, considering I haven't even tried them on--just took them out of the bag, measured, and went "Ruh roh, Scooby!"--I'll be holding firm for full retail price. For you, that'd be $145+shipping. I think that's fair since I ought to have the option of returning them to Gustin if nobody wants them. Not trying to be an ass or anything, but I don't intend to lose money on these to compound my annoyance that G shorted me 2 inches on the inseam. Thats fair. I think they look huge tho and dont think they will fit even after soak. I really want a second exact pair as I have. |

I actually didnt see that they were straight. I really need the slims. The fit I got is very good.

After reading all the posts about the loomies, I decided I need a pair. Eyeballing the 36 straights on the stock store, but I think they'll be too small post soak. Inseam sounds perfect on the ones you have. |

FWIW the waist on my Loomies did not stay shrunk in the way the other dimensions did. Not sure if I had sized down if the thighs would have ended up too tight, but I wore them damp so I'm guessing not...
EDIT: What I really mean to say is choose straights with a more accurate waist over slims with a larger waist If you want the slim look IMO

Just got these in yesterday. I gotta say, these did not do what I would have expected based on G's printed wash results but did exactly what others have voiced here. These things shrunk like a biyatch in length (Mattbert, you did the right thing) and very little in the waist. Legs are slimmer straights, like others have said. When I tried them on presoak, I was a little concerned because they fit pretty good, just a little loose and really long. Post soak tightened them up pretty good and as I've worn them today they seemed to have already stretched back out a bit in the waist. I am a fan!
I took post soak pics but they are pretty shitty quality. No knee (or tea) bags, though! :-D

giving my Loomies their first wash today since the initial cold soak. I've got about six weeks of solid wear on them and they are starting to get stinky. These have been my daily pair since I received them other than a few random Japan union blue days here and there.
How's everyone else doing on their Looms?

I've been forsaking my loomies :-( I'll wear Z18s or Okys all day as those are the two I'm currently wearing for fade, and then come home and put on the loomies to sit around the house because they are SOOOOO comfortable.

Wow the knee went from 19" to 17" that's nuts.
