Got one of two pairs I ordered direct from the site. This pair arrived in a flat-ish square cardboard box which was a terrific touch since most of our denim ends up in our hands via polybag mailers. Kraft paper wrapped the jeans and a nice hand-signed thank you note was included with a swatch of denim. They're unfortunately too small for me but the build quality is very good overall...some loose threading here and there but that's at the seam ends. - 901 Skinny Fit
- Kuroki Mills 15oz Orange Selvedge
- Pink thread (actually dig this a lot)
- Regular back pocket
- Flat fell seam w/ regular finish

Take a look through the album and let me know if you have any questions or want photos of something I missed. I really wish these guys fit as I'd have 'em on tomorrow but I'll be sure to rectify that quickly...speaking of rectifying it...I emailed Ciano regarding the other pair I have in their pipeline to see if it'd be possible to size up and got an immediate response saying that they'd recreate this pair for me in the next size up and send my way with a return label. I'm declining the offer as best as I can since their measurements are spot on and should work for me but my weird ass/thighs have an issue with some slims. Great service all around.

went with a tagged 32 since it gives a 35 waist.
had the same problem that i have with some of the japanese slims in that i can pull 'em up but can't get a button done.

Eh, I'll probably be in the same boat when the pair of Texas denim I ordered shows up. The joys of internet shopping. But when it works out...

Those look really good bugula I've really got to order me a pair, I keep putting it off to see about the sizing. I wear 31 in Gustin, 33 in Lawless. I really dig those pink threads man!

The slim is also called skinny on their site and yeah, it's definitely leaning toward skinny. They look great, though.

Was hoping to see another fit pic or two before ordering to get another look at placement and size of the rear pockets. You guys keep giving us photos of great looking products you can't wear (thanks for being early adopters)

CF's sizing seems really odd...
I emailed them and no response.

Just got a reply back regarding me refusing to take a new pair and now I'm being forced to accept their generous offer as they've already set the ball rolling on it. exophobe - I didn't measure the inseam and was informed they sent a 34" to allow for shrinkage.

LOL...do you feel being violated? I got great customer service from Ciano too. He offered to slim down my 20oz because I made a small comment about the word "loose" here....

CF's sizing seems really odd... I emailed them and no response. They've promptly answered all my inquiries, but sometimes I get an answer the next day. I feel that they are quite busy, and don't get to the e-mails until the end of the day sometimes. Their fit is different than Gustins, for sure, but I think you will get much closer to spec with CF, than you will with Gustin, as Ciano makes them in house, and has total control of the sewing.
