Indigo Herringbone didn't quite make the post office countdown, and will either be here tomorrow or have been lost. Italy Midnight Shadow showed, prominent horizontal grain when raw, the indigo is dark enough that it looks black (but absolutely looks to be indigo), and the weft surface almost feels brushed like a flannel making these super soft. Being Italian the warp surface is very smooth and these aren't slubby in the least. Smoothest neppy denim I think I've seen. Hobbs - this is the one.

Button-down shirt grab-bag for $65. I'd be in on this if I didn't opt for a spending hiatus.

I'd be in for it as well but in looking at what is available in the stock store I don't think there's anything particularly interesting.

japan eleven in every size in the stock store. limited rtw drop? don't remember seeing this offered to back. What's the naming convention for the stock store? I tried /stock/japan-eleven to see if I could see this. For those of us without stock access (store credit), we have to use the ninja way in.

"224-the-japan-eleven" We're big fans of lighter weight denim that retains a classic look. The Japan Eleven gives you a great summer option that's got a look you can wear year round. This is a limited availability item and best of all, it's shipping this week. Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from one of the finest mills in Japan. Dark indigo denim is where our collections started. It never gets old and always looks crisp and great. Many times we find lighter weight denim in brighter shades, so finding a true classic light weight was too good to pass up. The Japan Eleven start with a pure, dark blue warp and crisp white weft. It's exactly what comes to mind when you think traditional raw denim. The 11 ounce weight means they're comfortable on day one and much better in the warmer months. You also get a nice bit of starch, so you can put some good creases in them. A classic red ID finishes them off. Classic, light weight, great value.

I wonder if it's part of the Saturday drop - access to the stock store returning?

Really trying to test us 90 dayers, aren't you? Thankfully, I'm good on red/white/blue shirts.

Looks like the Japan 11's are available in the store as a stock item. I would pull the trigger on them but for $112 plus shipping I can't justify it, especially for an 11oz denim.

RgT is the only alternative i've seen.

I'm seconds away from caving in and impulse buying a TS oxford and duck chinos and heavy coffee chinos from Gustin.
90 day no spend....plus I don't need them.

I think G is beginning to validate my theory - whenever they gush over a shirt pattern, it costs us $93. "This is a must have shirt" "It's that good" "This fabric absolutely nails it" "Gauziness" All the ingredients are there. Those 4 magic phrases are worth about $4 each ($16 price increase). If they said this will be in their collection, that's the big one that bumps the price to $109.

For the record - "gauziness" should make it $4 cheaper. That word is pointless.

khaki overdyes and brushed back superlights came in today.
the overdyes are a lot nicer than i anticipated...no longer a regret. they almost have an olive look to the weft.
the superlights are a slim but sewed more like a skinny. the calves are skin-tight and the left leg is narrower than the right. curious if anyone else is getting these and if they have a similar result.

Pics!! I need to live vicariously because I refuse to spend more on denim for me when I can invest it in my kids' college funds.......
