mine just came in - that's an additional piece that comes up and out from the cuff (kinda like a hockey stick blade) to become an elbow patch/protector. it's not really noticeable on and is a unique detail. if either of the patterns appeals to anyone, i'd recommend hopping on them before they're gone. it's a very well made shirt at a very nice weight. How's sizing? I'm thinking I'll grab one. came in as spec'd on their site!

Rad stuff! I love LFNYC's shirts but their measurements don't work for me. I scored the cotton/flax chambray and it's fine in the chest but about 1-1.5" too short. I'm coveting those Grease Point trousers. As soon as I wear out my G Japan olive chinos I'll be grabbing the Grease Point olive twill work trouser.

toolonginexile how are you liking your 18oz Greasers so far? Thinking of picking up a pair this week. Really like them but if are used to slim cut low rise this is another animal-in. A good way Thighs are also a tiny big proportionally to Say a Gustin but also in a good way. Happy to provide any more info.

A good way Thighs are also a tiny big proportionally to Say a Gustin but also in a good way. Happy to provide any more info. that's exactly what I am looking for which is why the Greaser measurements have grabbed my attention. I've historically always preferred a straight/slim straight fit. Thanks to my consistent gym habits I am at the point now where in order to get my thighs to fit on a pair of IH634's I would be getting a hem size that is far too large even or my preference. I've found that overall, selvedge denim companies aren't geared towards guys with thighs. Of course there are exceptions here and there (i.e. said Greasers and IH634's) but overall the majority of companies are for guys with average to smaller thighs. so what can you say about the 18oz fabric? It looks to have some good texture to it. Is it dense or does it breath well? Is it super crisp and starchy or surprisingly soft for the weight? Are they fast faders? Thanks in advance.

Do they do the Charles Atlas cut in the 18oz?
As another option, hoping to see new offerings in the RgT Strider cut too.

So I've only worn them half a dozen times because I dropped them at the tailor for a hem. What I can say about the fabric thus far is that it's what impressed in addition to the long rise So right now it's hard to say tightly woven it is. More so then say one of the onis I've handled The best way to describe the collect Mills is that it is Three dimensional. It is on the other side of the smooth cone spectrum. There is a lot of texture with some slub peaking through. It is imho quintenstial Japanese denim that is not replicated elsewhere In over ten years fooling around with denim this is the first pair I have not soaked even if sanforized. So I would say it leans to the crunchy side but appears it will break down easily Also no question it will be an early fader as I have seen in the brief wear and as per LFNYC If you are looking for a fabric with character you will not be disappointed Oh and the fabric bags and rivets are unique Hard to go wrong if you know what you are getting into

For unknown reasons, Ciano has side seems on his v neck and has a 40" and a 44" chest and I'd prefer a 41" or 42".

So today I went to Left field. Great experience there. Met Chris spoke for about 20/30mins about the different types of denim he has in store. I was going to ask to try on a few pairs, but he took one look at me and said "your a 36 correct" I said yes. He said let's see how the slim tapper and slim straight atlas (I believe they were the atlas) fits. So I tried on the slim tapper. It's great, but the tapper fit isn't my look. So I tried on a 13oz cone denim blue selvedge ID slim straight and it looked and fit great. I told Chris that I would be back in either tomorrow (weds) or Friday right after work.
As of now I have my CC ready in my wallet and planning to go back tomorrow to pick up those jeans (of course 2 pairs)

Also, why do you buy two pairs of identical denim each time? Just curious.

Also the reason why I like to purchase 2 of the same pair is to break one in and keep the other in my closet until I'm ready to use it.
