eh...gave 'em the hot wash and hot dry treatment this morning. was a good experiment but way too boxy and long for me. guess the way to go is size down and then care as needed.

whiskeyriver that 25" length isn't too short for you? IIRC we are close to the same height (I'm 6 foot and some change) and that's the only deal breaker for me on these.

man I'm surprised to read the comments from bugula and whiskeyriver regarding how boxy and long these are. I wish they would give the height and weight of the model and what size he wears but they look to have good length and be a trim fit on him.

I'll measure mine in a few. They aren't too short on me, but I don't like my tees to go too much past my belt.

I would appreciate it if you could measure that center back length when you get a chance. thanks again.

ickes: ok, so I just measured. After hot wash and hot dry, the Larges are at a shade under 22" pit to pit, 21.5" waist, 21" hem, 27" long from bottom of rib collar.

I am part of the Left Field Black Marias fade contest. I bought a size 34 in them, and while they are a little big, they are lovely. The cloth itself is only VERY VERY minorly slubby, but the dye used is really cool. Rope-dyed with black sulfur. I thought "black jeans...fading...yeah right, this is gonna take forever." But damn, I am very surprised ad how crocky these things are. The dye lets loose a lot like indigo, and I'm washing black dye from my hands constantly. I got the chelsea fit, and they are a little straighter leg than a Gustin slim. They are VERY much cut like my Flat Head 3009s. It's a cut I love. Classic but not ridiculously wide hemmed like a lot of "classic" cuts. And wow, I am ALREADY seeing fades a week and change in. Just look how these fade after some time:

Any of you guys own one of the dust bowl workshirts? Had I discovered this brand before I did I would have gotten the wheat colorway and skipped on Rogue Territory's brown chambray jumper.

Not a big fan of brown like the wheat Dustbowl, but really like off-brown like the RGT Jumper/G brown Slub Chambray, if that makes sense.

No, just non 70's Chucks. Seems like older CTAS Pros had the red piping.

Yeah those aren't my jeans. Those are two different photos from I assume two different pairs of fading after more wear than I've put into mine so far. I have baby fades and light vertical fading going though after just a week plus of wear.

Don't get me wrong, I dig it. The fabric is great and the shirt is good for business casual situations like the clinic but I'm just not super fond of the jumper style. It's like a weird hybrid shirt. I'd rather have either a full blown work shirt like the Left Field dust bowl or a button down like the G brown slub chambray.

I was interested till I saw the backs of the sleeves. What's going on there? Is that supposed to be an elbow reinforcement or something?

mine just came in - that's an additional piece that comes up and out from the cuff (kinda like a hockey stick blade) to become an elbow patch/protector. it's not really noticeable on and is a unique detail. if either of the patterns appeals to anyone, i'd recommend hopping on them before they're gone. it's a very well made shirt at a very nice weight.
