First outdoor air dry of the year. Goodbye (for now) to the annoying sound of the drying fan!

lol that's the same view that makes it impossible to take naturally lit pictures. I figured for this one instead of it looking like I live in front of a bright light I'd focus it on the mountains instead ;-)

Damn felizuno, that's a Scotch sipping view right there. Well done. Like the overdye btw. I did a persimmon overdye on my fires and they were a bit stiff for a while afterward, kind of a cold, more assertive....almost hard buttery feeling. I've worn them a number of times since then and they are now back to their Sunday morning, forgot to put the butter away Saturday night buttery texture. I like them a lot butter now. Welp....that's enough of that.

First outdoor air dry of the year. Goodbye (for now) to the annoying sound of the drying fan! I like my little corner of Florida a lot more than I ever thought I would, but f!@k me I'd move back to Seattle in a heartbeat if the opportunity arose.

I just got bleach on my Okys :-( :-( not a few drops either, a f*cking blob. I ran to the sink with them, but too late...
To make lemonade out of my lemons I'm going to go at them with some sandpaper, see if I can't fade the bleach spot out to look like wear and tear, and take it from there. This is going to take forever, as I'm going to have to make the whole pair look worn enough to make that spot fit in.
I know people get angry about intentionally fading your jeans, but it's either this or bin them.

I have thought about this kind of stuff a bit because I'm always messing with dye when I do leather work. I decided that if I ever get a massive splotch I'll hack out the offending area and stitch in something totally different. I try not to wear anything I care too much about when the dye is out but sometimes it happens. Good luck with the sandpaper. Post pics. Might get some interesting results.

Threw the pants to the other side of the bathroom, poured some bleach in the cap of the container to dip the paintbrush in, all good. While I had my back turned kitty decided it would be cool to tip the bleach off the counter, and guess where my pants were :-(

My poor Okys, after 2+ hours (no joke, FML) trying to blend out the bleach stain to look like they faded that way. Not going well :-(

Shown with the beast that poisoned them and the scrap of granite countertop I've been rubbing against my ass all morning. You can see the bleach got some really random coverage because they were rumpled in the corner, so I'm stuck taking these things pretty far in terms of simulated wear.

that does suck felizuno, but they actually don't look that bad from the photos. i guess as a whole it may look strange that the seat is so much more worn than the rest of the pair, but you could just tell people you're a very aggressive sitter.

I don't think they look that bad. I would now lay effort on the front and rub all front creases while wearing them and then wash them on warm with alot of powderwash for like ten times. Also get the knees right and simulate wear on the thigs, while worn sitting touch thighs up and down to understand where fades would come and basically rub that whole area back and Forth but use something light or you end up making holes or too hard contrast.
Just dont sand too hard on creases or it will look fake. Preferably 1200 grade wetpaper and taking it slow. You can also enhance as you go between the washes after each dry.
I effed up my nudies once and did this and got them to a stage where i could wear them and put some real fades ontop and they got ok.

Also i found out rubbibg along the crease looks bad. Across from up to down is better. Takes longer but will look more natural. Be prepared to work on them between washes for a coupple of times.

I'm most curious what you did with the back of the knees if you have any suggestions
