I'm most curious what you did with the back of the knees if you have any suggestions It looked very wierd to me that they were all dark here so I tried to fix it but it never got very good. I would say take it easy. Better some babyfades then wierd too contrasty fades in this area. So basically I damped the back knees and squeezed alot to get creases then let it dry, then I carefylly sanded with 1200-paper so that I got some lighter fades right on the top of the creases. The you gotta "smudge" it out some with a wet hot cloth or more sanding lightly righg over the crease. Take a pair with good fades and you see how they look, basically there is light fading coming to a hard fade at the top of the crease and then its usually very dark in the "valley" after the crease. Its almost impossible to get this natural atleast for me so I tried and then just rubbed alot all over with a wet towel to lighten the area and then washed them many times. It probably wont be good, so better just get some light babyfades there is my suggestion.

At least now you have a pair that you can be comfortable to wear doing any project..without fear of ruining them. They'll just get better over time

L Gustin t-shirt; Loomies: What's your height and weight and chest measurement? i'm debating on picking up a three pack of the T's. I am 5'8, 160, with a 37" chest. I am thinking I want to get a small because a 4.5" difference in shirt and chest size seems too big to me for a t-shirt. That said, looking at that fit picture and your chest measurements compared with the G fit guide, I feel like a small will be too small for me.

First outdoor air dry of the year. Goodbye (for now) to the annoying sound of the drying fan! I like my little corner of Florida a lot more than I ever thought I would, but f!@k me I'd move back to Seattle in a heartbeat if the opportunity arose. Was enjoying the views of the Olympic's yesterday, with a ride up 101 on the Ultra Glide yesterday, and not to worry Steve, I sipped a little Scotch after I arrived back home after a day's riding.

Based on fit guide you should be fine with small. Don't let my pics fool you, there is plenty of room in the chest on that shirt it just might not show in the photo because of the black fabric.

on a side note, a coworker commented on my trucker today: "you're jacket looks very 1970's."
I found it slightly amusing. I guess it does have a 70's vibe about it, but at least it doesn't have giant lapels.

Here's my Italy Sky's, but you can't tell so much from these pics. They're the lightest jeans I have and feel very nice to the touch. The colour's quite vibrant and the contrast stitching works well. There are also nice touches, like red bar tacks at stress points and around the hem. They look a bit creased here, as they're straight out of the packet. They seem to be within spec too, so no complaints. Worn with Buzz Rickson's N-1 and RW IR Hawthorns.

I swear that has to be the exact same fabric as the Italian Powder Blues only the Skys have contrast stitching. I wish my Powders had contrast stitching

Received my Brown Black Twill today and it's awesome. It is the brown brother to my Green Black Twill I posted pictures of the other day. Exact same fabric only instead of the green lines in the Green Black Twill it has Brown lines. Another great shirt. It will sit in my closet till next fall but I don't mind, very happy with it.

I received a pair of Super Heavys today, and I'm impressed. All the workmanship is solid, the fit is spot on, and they were delivered ahead of schedule. The patch is the heavy raw one, not the crappy thin one - nice touch.
In contrast to my Heavy Americans, the Super Heavys have a really unique texture with a bunch of warp/weft contrast that really looks like something special and unique.
I had a series of disappointing/botched deliveries from Gustin last summer and fall that left me ready to give up, but this pair of Super Heavys has me impressed and ready to try again.
