While I'm taking pics, here are the Grey Silks next to my Grey x Whites that arrived yesterday: I have the greyxwhite but from Naked and Famous. I really like it and it will be great for warmer weather.

I'm super excited about the Grey x Whites. I had a pair of 12+yr old black 501s that had faded to basically the look of the GxW, but they got so destroyed they were past the point of repair. I thought that shade of denim was gone from my life forever, as I refuse to buy pre-faded pants. Now I have it back, with solid new seams and super awesome Japanese fabric!

felizuno, those Oxblood IIs look great. I had the Oxblood Is for a few minutes but they were weird, like OxSalmon. The OX IIS are better but still not Oxblood. I think your dye job got them to live up the their name.

Hard to believe at one point I thought "indigo is indigo, who needs a second pair?"
Edit: at the same time also thought "Stacking is for boot-wearing hip starrs"

Pima Fires arrived. Very smooth feeling. The streaky look wasn't so bad when I first pulled them out of the bag, but quite noticeable when I tried them on. We'll have to see how that goes. Didn't measure them, but they felt loose in the waist, which is probably from losing weight. I might have shrunk out of 35 straights.

It's amazing how this "deadstock" Pima Fire fabric has been around for over a year now with numerous campaigns.

I got the Pima fires second hand. I like them change it up a bit with the visual appearance. I really like the hand feel and how they wear. They sewed up tight and I never wear them though.

Measured and tried on graphite chinos. Fit well within spec guides. Hopefully have the desert ducks by Friday. When G hits the specs they are hard to beat.

What did I do before I discovered raw denim? Hrm, you've definitely done better on those herringbones than I have, have they done anything interesting as they've worn-in or pretty much stayed the same? I saw some herringbone workshirts on Rakuten (Schott or some ish) where the herringbone wore in kinda like corduroy wears down, seen anything like that?

I have worn the Herringbones about a dozen times. They have not changed much which is fine with me. I'm not dying to see fades set in with my denim though. They look great as is for my tastes.

I was just wondering, I don't wear them often cause I want to keep them pretty fresh so they can be dressed up. I'm thinking the recently funded herringbones are gonna be a bit more rugged looking since that seems to be the way the Japanese like to weave their denim. I couldn't wrassle a comparison pic out of the Gustin team, though.

If someone asked for a comparison photo, size\scale photo, etc...he'd often put one up. Not sure why they're never in the campaigns to begin with...but that's a different topic.

I'll have to see them in sunlight, but the streakiness is so odd. I'm more conservative in my tastes, but I kind of like the weirdness. Also, I don't know if it's because I've been wearing my Oaks and HAs a lot lately, but the fires feel like pajamas. Super light and very soft. Not buttery though.

I feel like mine are not soft... not compared to my Grey x Whites or Brown Hemps. Perhaps warm water will fix it all...

So after a few hours of wear I see what people mean about the fires feeling like pajamas. Not to the hand, to the thighs
