Wearing my G Quick Fades for 4 days so far - 0 dye transfer or signs of fade potential so far - considering giving them a quick cold soak to loosen up the dye? Same here. Though, I have a tiny bit of dye on my pure white canvas shoes I bought, but just on the edges. Negligible after wearing these for a week... I do like the look/feel/color of the denim though!

the BxB trucker was supposed to be sewn up with tonal threading. as you can see, it's done up in a gold/brown contrast stitching which I dislike. I only backed it because it was going to be tonal. The denim also isn't what I thought it would be. I imagined it to be very similar to the shadow selvedge fabric that 3sixteen uses or what N&F uses for their elephant denim. it basically looks like your garden variety dark denim trucker with contrast stitching. I also noticed a few blemishes in the fabric that shouldn't be there. It's going back

The image shots show copper thread, but for a different fabric. Did you email and ask about the thread before ordering?

I can't recall if it was Cone Mills or some such thing. they didn't have any pics of a sewn up BxB trucker when they launched the recent campaign - it was just a swatch of fabric. when they first launched the campaign for the BxB trucker I asked G over on SF what the thread color was going to be and they said tonal. This was straight from the horse's mouth as it were and it was the only reason I backed the BxB trucker.

I don't understand everyone obsession with contrast stitching...

It looks exactly how I would expect it to, but I completely understand why gaseousclay is disappointed, and believe I remember that discussion over at styleforum.

Didn't get to post up a pic yet, but I did receive my recent Italy IxI's. This is going to sound very novice, but the indigo is ridiculously...indigo. Super dark and inky. A nice stiffness for 14 oz. but not overly rigid. To get them wearable (length-wise), I typically do an initial soak on the legs. I was fully expecting the tub to look like a smurf murder, but surprisingly the indigo doesn't bleed without agitation. However, I am already seeing the appearance of lighter blue fading along the seams and in the back of the knees.
I go back to this, I honestly expected these to parallel my Cone BlueXBlacks in terms of dark, but I really do understand the distinction between the two by seeing them side by side.
Yes, I know, nothing worthy of a revelation here. Just wanted to share my thoughts.

as I said, some people may like the contrast stitching with the BxB trucker but I don't. just my own preference. fuggit, i'm returning it and getting the brown duffle instead.

I think contrast stitching looks...bad. It took me buying a few shirts that look awesome online but have a different effect in person to realize it. It's actually the only reason I'm getting rid of an otherwise amazing samurai denim work shirt at the moment. All the white stitching just makes it look silly.

How is the fit on these truckers? aren't they a bit blocky?

How is the fit on these truckers? aren't they a bit blocky? after a few wears, my dark oak trucker molded to my body shape, that is until I grew out of it.

Mine is perfect in the front but kina puffy in the back. But yeah it helps to wear it and also the fact that you never see your own back!
