Thanks for the advice guys. I ended up getting a pair of the Pima's so I'm curious to see how they drape and what the material feels like.
That being said, I get my hair cut at Railcar here in Southern California. Stopped by there today and they still have a couple rolls of some Cone, the 002 and 005 I think. Might step up to my first pair of denim not named Gustin or Taylor Stitch.

Gustin socks are an instapass for me as they are in one size. How exactly do you think socks will fit a foot correctly over a range of 4 sizes? You crowdfund. How hard would it be to offer sizing?

Yeah but they are ugly so no pain there. Did you notice the last update the marketing department finally figured out to add 3 packs of black and white. Now why the F are those things not stocked on the regular in V and Crew necks? Hell, add in Navy while we are at it.

☝️Totally agree. I was stoked when I saw the email subject line—how could they mess up socks? But they have. A single pair I might take a leap on one of the indigo pair, but to have to buy a three pack of one size fits all socks, no thank you. On a positive note, mu organic tee three pack from Black Friday finally shipped! 🤞

I cannot believe this thing is more than half funded, already. A "rugged" 4oz flannel ? Don't get me started on that pathetic excuse for a collar, either... Who's actually paying for this crap ?

What's up with the interior collar stitching?

4oz doesn't even make sense. I feel like my JCF flannels are heavier than that.

Half-zip = Full stupid.
Remember when the G drops used to carry a level of excitement (3+ years ago)? I'm surprised at their ability to find new ways to underwhelm.

The half zips do nothing for me in the first place, but the contrast stitching on the navy and black versions really drop them down to another level.

Any thoughts on the Moleskin? They seem to always describe moleskin as being Work wear. Not sure if I see it that way. Seems to me the velvet feel would stain easily? www.weargustin.com/store/6435

Moleskin is pretty tough. You can brush it clean. Kinda tempted, but wish they had a charcoal color.

I want to try the G chinos, and I'm happy to have another pair of black pants, especially saturated black pants.

Are the Indigo x Indigo's any good? Not sure if I want a new pair of denim. But something a little more upscale, less fade, less white weft I guess might be a good pair to go out in.

I've had a pair for about 2 years. I love them. They came in slightly under spec and every time these come up I think about getting a backup pair. I'm not a fade guy, so I love Italian denim. These have faded a little, but have not been worn a ton, cold soaked when I got them and I think I only have washed them once. I just wore them this fall paired with a light pinkish brown sportcoat and a white shirt and PTB's. They are perfect for such an application.

Finally trying some G Chinos. They had a few in the stock store, figured it was time to try them. Between deciding that I like my bxb and ordering these, I guess it's almost time to order a CPO!

Probably my best fitting chinos (I wear a 35 slim). I have an indigo selvedge canvas from Cone (RIP!) and an army green duck canvas. They have reasonable thigh room, unlike those buggers from RgT!

It's too bad there aren't any city coats in the stock store. THAT's what you should get next. No, wait...there's some shirts with pretty epic alignment issues. Go for those.
