Really liking the new triple indigo flannel. Perfect color combo - but for $33 more and only 1 oz. heavier than the other flannels in the store and $28 more than the PB flannel in the stock store, can't see the logic in this pricing strategy. There's nothing referenced to make this unique - did I miss something in the G community? I appreciate what their trying to do by building their brand and all, but the pricing model still needs a little work.

Re t-shirt debate, just go and get 3 pair of jeans for $99 at a shop. We have it at Dressman and Im sure you got it too. You would never use more money on those kind of jeans then you do on selvadge during a lifetime since they are so cheap.
Now the t-shirts... you can obviously go and get 10 for the price of one G $50.
But this is not the point. Is tyhe point the cheapest clothes or like..the less spent in a lifetime? No.
It is heavy. That is actually unique in my country. I cant find it in the stores. The Goodwear is about $40 and I got 2 and they are my best ever tshirts. They only come in white and gray tho, so if this G one has a little slimmer amrs and no QC-problem it is actually a good deal from my view. Most tees here is around $40-50 and they are so extremely much worse, to the point of being sucky. So maybe the US are special in that they have loads of superduper quality tees that you just love and love for $5 but this is not the norm I promise you.
I have not gotten the t, because Im waiting for my 2-pack to see how they fit. If they fit very good and are not so long, wich normally all tees are way way too long like a nightgown on me...then I will happily back 1, 2...even up to 5 Gustin tees !!!

Thanks exophobe and @david, missed the obvious on the indigo dyed. I may need to make an exception and pull the trigger on this one - great looking pattern.

do we have any indication that Gs shirt alignment issues have been resolved? Not as of mid-Dec. My rustic twill was one of the worst ever as far alignment issues go. It went back for a refund.

I'm super tempted by the green and black twill too. I love the colors and the fabric looks sweet. I couldn't resist it, caved in and backed it

The Green Black Twill material is awesome, but their alignment still scares me. My Wabisabi WS is bang on but my checkered Oxford is terrible. This shirt from the stock store , 2nd and 3rd shots really shows how badly they do plackets: www.weargustin.com/stock/31-slate-gingham#

How come my $9 old navy flannel from 2008 is aligned and 8-9oz flannel?

I sat down during the past weekend to add up all my purchases in 2014. Even with a budget, my wife and I had spent way too much money on STUFF (clothes, cars, watches, shoes, bags and others) and we both felt being irresponsible to not contribute more money on retirements and my kid's future education. My wife and I agreed to scale back on purchases especially on items that are similar to our existing wardrobe.
For her are handbags, shoes and jackets and for me will be shirts, jeans and boots/shoes. I thought I was pretty good on budget but the final numbers told me otherwise. I think it has to do with all the enablers here..... have to blame someone for my own problem..... =)

Oh but yeah I looked really quick at end of 2014 spending on fashion. And it wasn't pretty. Thankfully I sold a ton on eBay and other sites. 8k sold on eBay this year which was killer. Good scores thrift shopping.

Too funny.... worry being identify as a fan boy over age 30's or feel silly to buy a heavy "short sleeves" T-shirt that will be too hot for warm weather and feel too cold without the sleeves for winter? I paid over $100 for t-shirts in the past but they are either with some high fashion brands or with very special design. Not some plain T-shirt that is just "heavy". Well the reasoning for buying a $50 t-shirt because it's significantly heavier is about the same as reasoning for paying over $100 for a basic t-shirt because it has a fancy design, or is made by a high fashion brand. Both can be justified, but most people, me included, can't. Just for fun that I am able to find one of the t-shirt that I paid more than $100.... haa been sitting at the bottom of my drawer... for more than 10 years.... (it shows) I know it is not exactly the same as the $50 Gustin shirt and it is light weight shirt. However, I think this one may look similar in both texture and fit... It is a sample from my friend's store in Asia with a retail price of $6.
