When I first hear of Gustin, I went to the website and ordered the first jeans I saw.
Then I went on the board there, then I came over here. Started learning some things. I got some Heavy Americans on BST, I got some GreyXBlacks on BST.
Turns out those jeans I ordered were the Sea Blues; I got them last week and I thought "where did these teal pants come from?"
So yeah, that's how I got mine.

I really do hope the sea blue isn't the Candiani/Gine LD denim. I ordered a shirt in that fabric from LD and I'm not feeling the sea blue. BST potential.

guys has it actually been confirmed that the Super Heavys are the same as the LD 18.5 Kuorki? I'm assuming they aren't as the super heavies are .5 oz heavier, but those damn super heavies are haunting me too. I've held off on them because I have the 18.5 LDs on order.

I'm assuming they aren't as the super heavies are .5 oz heavier, but those damn super heavies are haunting me too. I've held off on them because I have the 18.5 LDs on order. I'm wearing my Lawless in the 18.5 oz kuroki right now and they look exactly like the Gustin Super Heavies based on the pics they posted today. It has a very obvious diagonal pattern from the weft show through and it's very soft. If it's not the same denim I'll be shocked. |

I'm glad they have a new Oxford out but black isn't my thing. If they could time a pink one for spring I'd back in a heartbeat. Hoping they bring back two Oxford shirts that they offered at the beginning of time. Strawberry and Bright Plaid.  I was wearing my Bright Plaid during the vacation and it is not bad. I bought it used and I machine washed and dried it to a much better fit. If people like bright color, it is not a bad choice. |

Thought interest was lost since they're Chinese.  I don't like Chinese in general... (I can say crap like this and it is still ok because I am Chinese... btw, I do like Chinese and its products and I think many of them have better quality than the Japanese/American/European equivalent.) |

New drops and Macklemore ain't happy. Gusin is back to being high priced. $50 t-shirt recycled japan cotton. Well the reasoning for buying a $50 t-shirt because it's significantly heavier is about the same as reasoning for paying over $100 for a basic t-shirt because it has a fancy design, or is made by a high fashion brand. Both can be justified, but most people, me included, can't. |
