Anybody else cop the Japan Union Blues? I backed a pair and went slim with them. I really really like the shade of blue. Let's hope the pictures are an accurate depiction. i did.

$150 shirts, huh? I'm going to need to be just a skosh wealthier before that sounds like a good idea.

The fabric on the Thomas Mason shirts is great, but Gustin has never been hurting for amazing fabrics. I haven't gotten a shirt since they adjusted the fits, so once I know what the slim fits are like I might consider it. That's all I can talk about it since I'm sad and antsy that my slim workshirt isn't here yet, even though I understand why.

Are the workshirts supposed to be similar in size to the regular button down shirts?

Not to worry ScottBott, they're selling just fine it seems. Worried? Hardly. Do I understand it? Nope. Again, we can't ever say what sort of numbers Gustin plunks out on it's campaigns as it's just a % So with that, I want to see fit pics of the 10 guys that sellout that campaign.

There are so many choices out there for button down shirts and I don't see myself spending $150 on them. If I find the reason to start wearing $150 button down shirts, I will first need to upgrade my dress shoes, suits, belts and watches before I can go there.

I remember shirts and jeans were sold out in less than an hour when some very special fabrics came out. I don't pay much attention to Gustin but I don't think it is the case anymore.

MiddleAge, that's where I am. Thomas Mason makes some really nice fabrics but the Gustin shirt template, for me, is not good. Additionally, in my experience, Gustin really struggles with patterns when sewing up their shirts. On the other hand, the JCrew Slim Medium fits me perfectly. With the 30% discount, its cheaper than Gustin and you know the placket and yoke will be dead on.

I really cannot fathom paying anywhere even approaching three figures for a flannel, let alone $150+. You guys are bucking fonkers.

I have to admit that I spent the least amount of money on tops, especially on shirts. When I look at a person outfit, I normally pay attention/judge the pieces in this order: watches, shoes/boots, bags, jackets, wallet, belts, shirts and pants. Since my clothing budget is so limited, I prioritize my purchase based on this order. It also remind me an article I read a while back on Dappered: dappered.com/2013/10/skimp-or-spend-a-buying-guide-for-mens-style/

I seem to agree with many of the points, but not all for sure. Interesting. Mainly I spend a lot on almost everything, but getting a good shirt on sale is my way of skimping I suppose. And that's why I have high hopes for my LD shirt to add more. Everything else I spend on.

I don't mind spending good money on things I like, with high quality. I don't impulse buy, and put purchases to good use. Alway nice to get a bargain though. Got a few items in the loop, and hopefully should get these by years end, but after that, really don't expect to spend on anything in the foreseeable future.

I look at jacket - pants - boots - shirt - watch (bags are in there at whatever instance I see it).
I have never seen anyone with even the full outfit of nice jacket - jeans - boots, I saw a guy with an Aero once but the pants were fail. Pants are almost always fail. Jackets are 99% fail. Lots of persons with nice shirts tho, and nice suits. And nice watches is common.

3% of the USA population can dress worth a shit. That is a direct quote from a Harvard study.
The new herringbone chinos are funding they look awesome giving them a shot.
Gonna clean the rest of my credit out and try try try a PBH work shirt. Hope it comes in short.

I'd have to say that my PHB is my favorite denim shirt I have, but assume it will get some competition from my incoming LD shirts. What a problem to have.

If I didn't already have three indigo denims in sub-11oz weight (with another one on the way), I'd be all over them. Heck, I'm still tempted to back them because none of my other lightweights are Italian!

I need to see the proportions of the herringbone on a completed pant in order to judge, because I can see how the texture might not work.
