Some people are getting their orders, some aren't. Some people got the email, some didn't

The email was a bit revelatory for me. He only mentioned two factories total and stated that they won't send stuff to LA. Does this mean that the vaunted LA factory that they've been trying to spin up finally completely fell through?
Also, it was fairly agressive about their marketing style "We will continue to market our brand as we see fit". Seemed like a push back against disgruntled customers who are annoyed with lifestyle posts to FB and IG.
While the loss of customization really doesn't affect me, it's really a big blow overall since they prided themselves on being a very custom shop.
Overall, I got the impression that I'm no longer the type of customer that LD wants, and that's fine. This email helped me realize that LD is no longer the company I had hoped for.

For whatever reason I didn't get the email, any chance of a brief summary? Good Morning LD&CO Community, Our brand is our passion and our mission is to bring back manufacturing and jobs to the United States. However, our challenge right now is finding the skill set to do so. Our team is strong and masters of their craft. Their attention to detail is meticulous and it is a guarantee that you will never receive a product like ours at the price point that we have offered. That being said, we are not only a start up clothing brand but we are also a start up manufacturer. We are still learning as a team the processes that speed up production times. Since launching our website and becoming an eCommerce store less than six months ago in November of 2014, the support has been overwhelming and the intense demand for our product has only grown. To handle the demand and catch up on current orders, we are currently in the process of opening up a second manufacturing facility and finalizing details required to do so. Unfortunately, this can not be done overnight. It is our choice to maintain quality control by not sourcing our manufacturing to another factory in Los Angeles, across the border or overseas. It is our commitment to you that we STAY local and stay American made. In addition, since launching our unique business model to provide our consumers the options to pick their denim/fabric, fit, style, hardware, pocket liners, denim tag designs and thread colors, and in order to keep production flowing, we have since removed the options that take more time (for instance switching out thread colors). It is also our plan to limit custom options in the future and slowly step away from our made-to-order model. We will be releasing our ready to wear collection which will ship almost immediately after purchase sometime during Fall 2015. We will continue to market our brand the way we see fit. We embrace the caferacer, denim, adventurer, outdoorsmen and average Joe communities equally. We encourage our customers to live life without limits and believe that our products can provide them with the confidence to do so. It is our commitment to you that despite the push backs on estimated delivery of products, products are shipping out and you WILL receive yours, guaranteed. Thank you for growing, encouraging and supporting us as we continue to grow through our first year. As always, do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions regarding sizing yourself correctly or an update on production.

The stock market is pretty much one of the only entities in the US that closes down completely on Good Friday. Most banks and even the Postal Service are operational...though some places operate under reduced hours. I haven't heard of any US businesses closing on the following Monday. We relish in our adherence to long work hours/days/weeks even as other countries work fewer hours while maintaining productivity levels. high five. I'm waving an American flag at you, sir.

Ah, I miss the Easter break. And the May bank hols* even more. Dat Sunday drinking... Haha, yeah, you can pretty much rest assured that if it's a Bank Holiday weekend it'll be raining that weekend.

It's pretty pathetic for me to have to get update through other forum members. LD&Co, Please stop pissing at our feet and telling us it's raining!

Would someone who's recently received a pair of jeans mind posting up pics? The last pics I saw were from a few months back with their old smaller pocket style (which I thought looked awful btw). I need to see to see something current to determine if I even really care about their jeans enough at this point

I need to see to see something current to determine if I even really care about their jeans enough at this point I can take a pic of the backside of the top block on my tan x tan later tonight. I had taken pictures of them and shared, but I don't think I took that picture.

While on spring break vacation in Florida, I decided the Atlantic Ocean would be a great place for my first soak in the KS Oki Standard like pair I received back in February (also a great opportunity to embarrass your kids as you wade into the ocean in your jeans. Heard a young 4 or 5 years old ask his dad, "Daddy, why does that man have his pants on?"). I did it more for the story than any sort of fade purpose. It was fun and a great week on vacation will now be part of the jeans.

I've contemplated it MANY TIMES, just haven't done it. Will you post pics of the results?

Not sure I need topless wet jean photos of me on the world wide interweb!
