Is that the Navy Check Pendleton? Yes. It is quite soft and not thick but pretty warm. The pattern is much sharper than the picture and I already got two compliments this morning from the office. The workmanship is typical LD and it is very good. The only thing is the fabric can be a bit scratchy and I have to wear an undershirt.

LOL.. no, it is not buttery. Only thing buttery is my wife's skin but that will be another thread or another forum to discuss that.

Looks great! I have the same coming but opposite colors since i didnt think that exact color would go well with my skincolor wich is like....A dead person. Or imagine a Britain with totally french genes ie red hair...not totally ginger but all the bad stuff that comes with it like not tannable in the least. White then redburnt then straight back to White again. I once was walking along minding my own business in the mall and was walking alongside a mirrorwall...like 20 feet away..and i just happened to take a look in the mirror glancing over all the people and suddenly i was like wtf that dude right there is like soo White he looks like a vamp. Offcourse it was me. Now you might think a light shirt would also be bad and you would be right! But if its a little cream then it might actually be better then blue.

Today is my first time wearing my LD shirt above. I agree with others that the forearm area of my size slim Medium shirt is TIGHT. My forearm is in average size and I will be concern for some members here. if you have not received your LD shirts yet, you may want to reach out to LD and inquire about it.
Beside the forearm, I love the fit.

I was looking back a few pages to try and guess where order #s might currently be at, and the latest I saw was 1900 something. I have order #396, and it is now about 16 weeks in. Would it safe to assume that if things stay the same, something ordered today would take about a year to receive, or is my math flawed?

No idea but I think the new LA factory will make a difference when it happens.

I've had a message in through the website about my order #133, a remake of a San Juan Pendleton shirt that sewed up way too small, and some other items that don't have a tracking/order number for the past two days without any response. I've also had a text into Sal for a few hours about this order and the lack of response from their message system. It's going on five months for some of these items.

Running trend of tight forearm fit...forearm-gate.
Seems to be a trend for any somewhat scandal to just add gate to the end.

I have only one order and it was from the old site around mid October. Got my shirt late January. Every items from my order has no size change from the size guide. I got three items so far out of five.

I am very worried that shirt will shrink. I think I will only handwash mine. About orders: I thought I saw someone saying SAL had mentioned starting on orders up to 300 wich made me happy since Im in the very end of that. It seems like the have cutting going well but a little bottleneck on sewing and the other stages. It sucks, but I still like that they dont just take people from the street even in a crisis but actually have a very high standard of expertise needed for the job thus making it hard to just hire more. In some jobs you can just hire a place and 1000 people to get done what you need, this happens all the time but is usually things a monkey can do like licking a stamp to an envelope (x-mas time with holiday cards...picking strwaberries, making sandwishes for some event or whatever). So I think out of the options its sttill the least bad option. Anyways....its better that the orders are started then not. I havent got a notice, but.....if you book them..they will come!

I am very worried that shirt will shrink. I think I will only handwash mine. Considering that most people will be wearing these over a T or a base layer plus wools natural resistance to odour, they'll barely need washing I've got two on order, plus a vintage Pendleton and will mainly air them, and hand wash only when needed. Not much hassle for something done so rarely

Nice, I've got a similar one on the way! SHirt size, and your size? Slim M and I am 5'10" 160lbs.... (off-topic... I need to start cutting) Thanks MiddleAge. Good reference points. Based on your stats and LD size, my sizing guess should be right for me which is something I've been worried about as I wait.

Ugh. I am 5'10 195 and went with XL slim based in the size charts. But you guys with mediums are making me worried I should have gone L.
What are your actual waist and chest measurements?

I'm just afraid of the shirt being too long.

Happy to report I finally received my Kickstarter order, 14 oz Grey Nihon Menpu in the straight fit. Although I had to "complain" a great deal to get my denim and one of the custom details I selected in July is wrong, i.e. wrong pocket lining, I have to say I am very satisfied with the overall product. The stitching is well done and the fit, which is always a potential problem for me, is excellent. The fly buttons are a little too small for my taste, but that's a very minor detail. Thiis a great pair of denim, especially given the price, and I have received very positive feedback from others.

I'm 5'7, 190. 44chest, 34waist. I asked for a custom pattern and was told that would be done, but I'll never see the shirt so i requested a refund.
