The jacket looks well made and the leather looks substantial. From where I sit the stitching looks pretty spot on. I also like how it creases at the arms. And it has some nice grain going on that gives it character and this will only inprove and get stronger and more pronounced as you wear it. I do not care for the bottom without even a line of stitching, this looks wierd to my eye. I also wonder what type of leather it is. Is it lamb? So, yesterday/last night was my first time wearing it. I will start my "review" here with THE BAD: The collar seems slightly oversized, a la Gustin Chore Coat. The brown piping; not really BAD, but it was unexpected, and wasn't what I envisioned when I purchased the jacket. (But, I'm thinking now that it was a genius idea to better incorporate my not so normal button choice) The lining: it's the silky kind of liner that would be used in a blazer. I think canvas would have been far better through the body of it, and the silky stuff for the sleeves (so the jacket doesn't push/pull your sleeves when donning/doffing. It lacks a "hang loop". Chest pockets: from the perspective of practicality, I dislike the chest pockets. I don't ride motorcycles, but when I was wearing this jacket, I felt like I SHOULD BE RIDING A FREAKIN' MOTORCYCLE! That being said, the storage pockets don't work for quick simple access. They do look good though. What would be better served is side-entry zip pockets, or side-entry snap closure pockets. (I'm sketching a WS design that uses these kind of pockets.) Nitpick: I think the sleeves should be a smidge more slim. Now, THE GOOD: The leather! Idk if it's vintage deadstock triceratops belly skin, or maybe just goat... But it's so soft, yet obviously substantial. Nice, even, deep black color, and it makes me smell like Ron Burgundy's library filled with leather bound books. The overall look. In 3hrs of drinking, I was told that my jacket was very nice and that I look like about 5 different kinds of badasses. I was said to look like a hit man, a mobster, a member of a bike gang, a rebel without a cause, and "an underwear model, with great tastes in clothing" <---- all of those are ACTUAL statements from other people, lol ------------- I'm gonna close out my review here, for now. It's not much, but damn good for a guy who's hungover and hungry as a hostage. Overall, it's a nice jacket, and my new favorite while this cool weather last in Okinawa. The jacket looks better to me in both your pics that how it looks to me on the Lawless site. Maybe you need to be their new model. Some jackets do just work better on certain people. Was going to say what brown piping but can see it when I zoomed in on the Lawless website pics. Seems to be subtle. Maybe it is more contrasting in person. Which could be a good or bad thing depending on what you like. Collar size looks good to me. I have the satin type lining in my Lost Worlds jacket and if it is a similar fabric, it will hold up well and makes the jacket easy to slip on and off. The pockets are big and strange but once again looks better in your pics. Looks right on with you wearing it. If you can fit items, like a cell phone etc, even better. What is the inside pocket like? I always need my inside pocket. Leather looks good. I love black leather. While black doesn't get some of the patina of browns, black just has that classic look and usually looks better with age also. Would be great to see a full body pic. Want to see what is up with the hem. Overall great jacket.

This is what the jacket looks like. And yes, I pop my collar. I didn't used to before, but since owning this jacket, my level of bad-assery has sky rocketed... I don't think of it as a fashion statement... I think of it like a black leather warning flag, signaling to everyone around that "i will punch your kitten."

Lol, I swear I don't have tiny, disproportionate legs like the picture suggests. She snapped the picture at a downward angle

You've got to be the most bad-ass dude in Japan. I can picture mothers holding their daughters just a little tighter after encountering you. Seriously though, that's a cool look and the jacket looks great.

4th day of wearing the Lawless jeans. I'm not comfortable with them since the stretch has been good. Here's a little song about how I feel about them. Jimmy Fallon and Will Ferrell explain it perfectly here:

@untucked - man that looks bad ass. I looked at lawless' leather jackets on the site and they didn't do it for me.
I really want a motorcycle style cafe racer jacket.

Untucked, if you feel the collar is too big you can fold it not so close to its base. Right now you make it the maximum length. Sometimes one can make the fold where one want by wetting it under warm water a long time making ot fully soaked, then folding it like you want, place it like that and let it dry for a day or two. Sometimes this works. I also did this to fold my big flap pockets so they folded some vertically to help the overall drape.

Instead of the collar laying flat you put a bend up in it and back down which in turn shortens them. Did that to my Lost Worlds. Of course if you want to turn it up then you are good to go either way.

It will eventually become softer tho and not stand up as much because it gets bent everytime you wear it. But yeah, enjoy - it looks good!

When everyone else asked for denim for their freebie pair, I asked for Chambray. Thinking outside of the box paid off for me, because now I have a great pair of sturdy, casual trousers. I don't have the sizing specs for what I ordered, but they fit. Plain, and simple. I'm BULKING right now, so though I can get in them comfortably, they are slightly too tight to wear right now, but that's only my fault. Something interesting is that even thought hey are tighter than my other pants, I have more mobility, range of motion and freedom of movement. As others have stayed before, and shown with pictures, the lines are solid. Stitching is strong. The patch is BEAUTIFUL. The fabric is BEAUTIFUL. I like these pants, a lot. Point blank.
