Just stopping in to say hello. My clothing hobby has almost stopped completely with the new house purchase. But as summer is starting to roll in i'm in the need of a few new warm weather shirts.
Hope to have something to add here soon.

This could probably be its own topic, but it's related to 2018 purchases so I'll set it up here - has anyone pulled the trigger on a duplicate second pair of a denim that you wear all the time and may not be around in the future? If so, was the logic the scarcity of the denim or just a good fit/fade?
I've been debating it - although $250-$275 for a pair to sit on "standby" is about as logical as my denim buying habits of about 2-3 years ago.

I did this with Tailor Stitch green herringbone chino's and Bravestar Cramerton Chinos. The TS pair I got a good deal new on Ebay and the Cramertons I bought because the mill is not operating anymore and the fit is incredible for me.
I had contemplated it on the G Italy double Indigo's but they seem to run those 2x a year anyways.

Impressed by the fit of these T's (most important) but at $38 for Canada made, drum knit, 10oz--Hell yes! Noticed the length is longer and less boxy than 'classic cuts', far from excessive but may be an issue for some. Got mine from Blue Owl (same with pics)

I've got a white one and they are a decent fit on me but a little too short in the length for my liking.

I've got a white one and they are a decent fit on me but a little too short in the length for my liking. Interesting, cause they seemed longish to me (didnt measure) compared to my IHs or my 3sixteen garment dyed. What's your go-to tshirt brands? Short answer; For "heavy" T's its 3sixteen and Eddie Bauer Slim Fit Legend Wash. For lightweight T's its Buck Mason Straight Hem T's (they make a curved hem T too which I'm not a fan of), Pistol Lake Minimalist T's and believe it or not Old Navy Tall T's. Long answer....I feel like that's something I'm constantly in search of because what I've found is that T shirts are something that are probably more inconsistent with sizing than anything else even within the same brand and fit. My first batch of Eddie Bauer Ts I ordered about 4 or 5 years ago were perfect. Fit was spot on and nice and simple fabrics on the heavier side. Second time around I ordered some a few years later and the fits were off in the exact same size. I noticed they were also made in different countries. Nearly exact same thing happened with my 3sixteens. First batch I ordered several years ago are spot on, just a few months ago I ordered 4 more and just couldn't quite nail the fits as they were a bit off the previous batch. Old Navy is the same as well but hell you can get them for so cheap (like 4 or 5 bucks a T on sale) that you cant really lose and the tall fit works good for me more often than not. They're kinda my gym/slash throw away Ts but at the same time you can easily wear them on a night out. I highly recommend you pick up some Pistol Lake and Buck Mason T's for lightweight summer options. The fabrics are super nice for both brands, almost luxurios..and they make them in some very nice colors. If the fits were just a tad bit slimmer in a few spots on both brands they would be the perfect T for me, but with that being said they are still above average fits.

Thanks ickes. I'll def check those brands out. New score from Nine Lives via Division Road: 19oz chino work shirt. Love how this blurs the line between workwear and a more sophisticated/formal like style; while not going so far as to make it out of reach for the average dude. I place it between a CPO/shacket and a blazer/french work jacket. Fabric is very thick, yet pliable and the hidden placket has grown fast on me. Wasn't till I tried this one on that I saw its genius, but once I did I knew it was a must cop.

I still wear tees from Royal Apparel. I’ve got their bamboo, hemp and organic cotton blanks. Made in the USA and Super soft and comfortable. Their blanks aren’t preshrunk so I usually size up to account for shrinkage. However, I do have a few of their white blanks that I went usual size. I wear those as undershirts

US Made J Crew Slubs are still my favorite for slubby, but Ciano's solid colors are pretty great and ringspun. I definitely prefer no seams, always for undershirts and generally for t's.

Crews are pretty decent, forgot I had a few of those. I've been meaning to try Ciano's. I've also been looking at Resterods too but haven't copped on yet. All the fit guides are in metric and it makes my head explode converting all the measurements the 'Murican measuring system.

Don't think I've tried the US made J. Crew slubs though. I'll have to check those out.

What size do you get in the J Crew's? L, same as Ciano and Tebow (3Sixteen). The MiUSA J Crew are made in LA, and not ringspun, but they are a little slimmer cut than their regular slubs. I'm sort of on the cusp of needing a Tall from them. The normal is fine until my wife gets a hold of them and hot dries them for an hour.

The striped versions are pocket free, but their website is devious and kicks you back non MiUSA pretty easily.

Somehow I'd forgotten about my absolute favorite T's. The Almond striped ones, made in Peru. Not ringspun, but a heavier fabric than most.

I remember when they first came out with their black and navy waxed riders a few years back. I really wanted one but couldn’t decipher their fit chart. Gave up after that.
