bigblack I have jeans in that fabric that Manny made me a year ago. I like it a lot. It starts off stiff like any raw denim but becomes soft in a couple of wears. The fabric is thick, keeps me warm, and has a soft hand to it. Slow fader for me since I only wear when it's colder outside, not sure about shrinkage as I have never washed/soaked jeans yet. Well I called Bravestar and they said they were out of 18.5 oz jackets in XXL  |

So I wasn't able to sell my 14oz, but I was able to get them tailored to my liking from a friend of a friend that use to work for nudies for 10+ years. Both pairs should be ready soon. I'll post the before and after photos once I get them back.

Just got my brave stars back from the tailor. All I have to say is wow! They look so much better now.    Since I got both pairs tailored to become a slim tapered fit. I'll keep both pairs, but I'm planning on soaking the other pair so it can look somewhat different. Also I might need to send them out to Railcar so they can adjust the waist for me. The 36 needs to be a 35. |

If you're going for a little shrink/tightening of the denim, you can probably accomplish it with 20-30 min soak in the tub, cold water. I'm not sure which Bravestar fabric you have, but some of those Cone's are a little stubborn at first. Beautiful once they break in. I have the Ironside jacket in 13.5 w/brown weft and it's probably my most responsive Cone fabric in terms of quicker fades. |

The first wash or two actually tend to make things look darker as the weft tends to get a little indigo transfer. Wear is your best way of knocking out indigo, hence patience.  |

I almost bought another pair of khaki's. Pre ordering is a must as they only have been running these a few times a year, so if you want them, get them now. |

It can be hard to distinguish sometimes. I don't know if you've ever owned black jeans with a white weft but sometimes they can almost look Indigo and you can only see a difference when you put them next to a pair of Indigos. |

Can someone comment of how much the Cramerton stretch with wear? I assume its not as much as denim. Also do they shrink much once washed. Just trying to pin down my size. I like the overall measurements of the the 33 best but the waist is a bit on the small side compared to my other pants. Thanks.
