not sure about 12+oz, but woolrich and duluth trading both make heavy-ish weight flannels

I have a Carhartt heavyweight flannel that is 8 oz. Its pretty burly IMO and have worn it to sleep on some cold winter nights. I can only imagine how heavy 12 oz would feel compared to 8 oz.

IH Does heavy flannel well. The IHSH-54 was a damn good flannel. They did one with & without pockets for ur hands. The collar was perfect & kept its form standing straight like I want. Yes they are pricey but u can bank on you loving the shit out of it

Its amazing to me that with all the people who love flannels, that there are very few places that offer a stout version, other than IH. 6-8oz. stuff is all over the place, but when you bump up the weight, it all but drys up.

I think flannels, in general, have the grunge and hillbilly tags that keep many from appreciating them. That's too bad because good flannel is awesome. I'm even a fan of flannel-lined jeans and khakis and jackets. I've been called the Brawny paper towel guy more than once, but that's OK...I do wish someone would make a nice, tailored flannel in heavy and big guys sizes...plaid wools also fit into that genre for me.

I also think that flannel lost its way some time ago, and there has been a severe shortage of quality flannel available in shirts. Most of the stuff you see in stores, for the most part is ill fitting, and like you say, grungy, and hillbilly like. Nothing beats the retro look, and comfort, of Spring skiing with a quality flannel, combined with the Beasts.

Might have to save up for the iron heart I am normally very good at this on buying shoes. Instead of buying two Gustin's workshirts, I should just buy one IH.

I'll tell you this, the more Gustin icreases their prices, the better that IH looks to me, and becomes the better value.

Love Indigofera flannels. Incredible fabric & max qual., large sizes too... but, of course, IH-like prices...dig their Ranch Jacket, style wise, as well.

Saving for Alden Indy in shell. Smart. If you take care of them, Alden shell will last a lifetime. If you divide the years up, your annual cost is like buying a pair of converse chuck every year. I think people needs to think this way when buying shoes.

I don't care how much Gustin shirt cost and how nice the fabric is, the shirt is expensive to me because it doesn't freaking fit. I am actually quite surprise the fits work for so many people. Either they have this very perfect Gustin liked body or they don't know how a shirt should fit.

You should be able to use IMG tags, so you'd put (img) and (/img) with square brackets on either side of the image url
