So on the shirts the only difference between slim and regular fit is that the regular fit is an inch longer in the body? Wut.

I believe that the sizes on body is not the shirt, but your body size measured with a soft measuringtape. So it doesnt matter what size you are, if you choose the slim it will be cut using a slim style. The actual shirt will be the normal added inches from the bodysize. So when choosing 40, the shirt will be maybe 45".
Relizing this just now, I should have chosen both styles to see which fits me best.

Maybe @laura can tell us what style is on the pics of the shirts. Are they all slim?

Best thing is to just put your actual measurements into the notes (following the measuring guides) and indicate that you choose a shirt size based on prior sizing experience but would like to know if it is the right size based on your measurements.

Hey all, first time posting! Any Idea what size Type II jacket Roman is wearing? I'm confused about the jacket sizing.

But, per the size chart, if you order the same size in a slim, and a regular, the slim will have a smaller chest, waist, and length measurment out of the box. All being worked on. We are aware of all the sizing questions & are releasing new charts as we speak. So far the shirts have been updated to have a chest & a ptp measurement . Why the chest & PTP you ask? Same reason why you up size a belt. You have your waist & then you add the belt on top of that which makes the belt have to be larger. If you wear shirts that have a PTP of 21 then your chest is likely a 38-39. This is where the initial measurements were off because we had true chest measurements that totally confused people. Chest measurement is not PTP, PTP is the shirts measurement from left to right

I'm still so confused with this shirt chart:
I measure out as a 44" chest, 35" waist
If I followed the true chest measurement,... I'd be selecting XXl with p2p chest measurement of 50" ?!? I could maybe use it as nightgown at 50" So do I totally neglect these true size measurements, and just go with the actual shirt measurements?
Thanks in advance

Why don't you measure the P2P of shirts you currently have. I'm sure they're around the same measurement. If you ordered the size with true 44in,the shirt would be literally skin tight. I'm a 38" chest, and the M, with a 42in (21inch p2p) is just about perfect. Is there any possibly to request shorter body and sleeve length? Shorter by maybe 1 inch.

Just get a tape measure, or go to a tailor and get measured, then you'll know your real measurements, and know exactly how much of a "vanity size" diet you need to go on. I know the first time I measured my waist (as I was getting into Gustin) it prompted the nearly 30 pounds I've dropped this year. But this way, you know what your measurements are, you can tell Lawless, and then you don't have to fret anymore.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm not a newbie, I know my measurements.... All I'm saying is this shirt chart is questionable... No man in their right mind who has a 44" chest, would go and buy a shirt/jacket at 50" unless he intended to have 3 layers on underneath...

Seeing the new size charts i'll probably go ahead and change the sizing on the shirts I ordered. The shoulder widths look a bit wide for each corresponding chest size by about .5" or so to me.

Im also no newbie, and really cannot fathom a 44" chest being able to wear a 45" shirt. It must be hellatight? Are you sure your not talking about a shirt shat has the number 45 on it? Chest measurement: Soft tape around your body = 44" P2P: 0.5" under the arms straight across a lying shirt you usually wear x2 = 45" ^ you mean this?

For me: A shirt w/ p2p of 44" ---> "hellatight" " " " 45" ---> "Tailored fit" " " " 46" ---> "slim, but comfortable" " " " 48" ---> "baggy for a shirt, but good for coat" " " " 50" ---> "MuMu status"
