Just confused over a few sizing charts floating around.
Glad to know I can adjust sizing. My thighs and calves are large.

yeah, this is the third size chart since the KS launch in July, definitely confusing. My head is swimming right now with all the different measurements.

The guy getting the black waxed jeans said they are slimmer then G slim, but this chart here says the slim taper is actually wider in both knee and leg then g-slim. And the waist is also a little wierd, I usually go with 35 in G but this stretches out maybe 2". However if I take 36 in LD then the other specs gets too big. So its a little hard to know....wont they stretch at all, or does this "we take into acount.." -thing make them not stretch as much meaning I HAVE to order my waist and just get the rest of the pants too big? I have a little wider hips then other people, but my legs re normal to slim wich means this is not good for me and a pant that stretches will actually fit me better after wear.
If I measure my body I am like...a 39 ...this cannot be the way to go. Im 35 in G and 34 in IronHeart (with alot of stretch in the waist yes)
Im thinking of just getting a 36 to lock in the fit....and if it doesn't fit I sell it here or give them away.

I'm curious, throwing the tag/labeled sizes out the window, what do your jeans measure now that they've stretched?

Ok, I cant read pages on pages to figure this out (wife is pissed as it is that spend to much time with you guys). If I have a 42"chest, my shirts measure between 45-48 (46" would be just right). What size am I in LD? Am I a XXXL 46" (that's what LD will sew) or am I a XL 42" (and LD will sew it up bigger to allow room to move)?

I get the true sizing when it comes to jeans. That LD gives you your true size and may adjust it down a bit to compensate for stretch. That's fine. But what of the shirts? There's no way I'm a XXXL! That would also mean Scott's out also for a LD shirt. I'm thinking I'm a true 42" Chest and LD sews it bigger to compensate for movement. Just need confirmation of that.

The shoulder : chest ratio on the shirts and jackets seems pretty high unless you are like an Olympic swimmer or something.

Sizing charts appear way way off. Chest/waist to shoulders doesn't make sense.

re: jeans fit, assuming these are all sanforized, can I assume that if i'm between sizes (ie.35.5 waist), I should order a 36? Or should I stick with a size 35? Not sure how much shrinkage there will be.

The shirt sizes are alot better imho. You measure actual chest (on your body) and if you are 40 then you order 40. Then you look at sleeves and length and puts any mods into the comments.....right?
To me, the size 40 is effing beautiful. Its actually a lil shorter then my shortest shirt so I will be able to wear it untucked YAY! It will come to the middel of my fly. The sleeves are spot on to me.

The sizing seems better now on the jeans. I could definitely wear the slim straights the way they're sized at this point which makes since because I'm a slim straight in most brands.
If Roman is 6', 185 what size shirt is he wearing? That puts him a little shorter and the same weight as me and I'm torn between M and L.

Thanks, I just started crossfit so if anything I should probably be sizing up a bit.

DD, I need a 46-48 chest AND waist since my trunk has very little taper. This is typically an XL in most store brands and XXL in Gustin. What should I do in Lawless?

That is similar to my plan. I measured my waist and came up with 34.75". When my wife measured me she said 35.5". So I went with my measurement so she can say "I told you so" when the jeans are too small. A pair of 501s that I have when measured in the Gustin manner came up 34" out of the wash, 34.25" after worn for a few hours. So I went with a 34 in LD, 15.2oz Cone.
I figure I'll use the sale to get one pair, see how it fits, and once I got that set maybe get a couple more pairs.
Our I might just order another pair with a 35" waist just to see how it turns out.

Yes, and also bc if the waist is tight one can warm soak only the top waistband and stretch. better then having the entire pant be too big, then i might aswell go get something in the supermarket
