unnamed, you're right, it's superblack. There's no way I'd want the superblack jeans as it's just so stiff, and that's what was putting me off the 634s, but they're a different beast entirely. A stiff vest isn't a problem, but I've worn it a lot, even around the house and watching tv, and it just doesn't yield at all. Having said that, I like the vest a lot and wear it often. It also has sentimental value, as it was the cancellation of my LD black vest which led me to IH in the form of the vest, and the start of a very slippery but pleasant slope. I'm good on jeans for now, but have my eye on the 634S when I need, not want, a new pair. l like the classic straight fit on these. Its to bad you never got your LD vest, as I really like one I received from them, done in an IH style. Quite a nice piece for $60 bucks.

IHSH-123 x IH-707 Those 707s look almost like a dead ringer to my Buzz Rickson Original spec chinos. I like the classic military cut to them, and comfort they provide. I wonder if they are the same weight twill?

I almost went with the Buzz Rickson's original spec but I got confused with sizing. Between the over sizes cut and the more slim cut.
Also making a case for the 634. Might has to cop them.

I'd say the Original Spec is very similar to the fit of the 707s in Untucked's pictures. The button fly unwashed/raw version, has a bigger, stove-pipe leg, which I thought was a bit much, although its true to the early 40s Army fit.

The 1942 model has the bigger, stove-pipe cut to it. I prefer the Original Spec cut, as it is not baggy in the seat, and a bit slimmer in the legs. I'd say the Original Spec is very similar to the IH 707.

I wonder if they are the same weight twill? I've looked at a pair of the BR chinos in store, and the material looks and feels the same

That model is the slimmest fit they have offered, but in no way would I call it a slim fit. The example of Untucked's 707s, looks spot on as to how these fit.

Didn't have a chance to snap a fit pick but got to try these together for the first time today. I love RT's fabrics. The ISC chinos almost make me want to get the work shirt.

With how the ISC crocks, a full ISC line would leave everything you own dirty blue.

The ISC chinos almost make me want to get the work shirt. do it. do it. do it. I said almost! I really dislike the rounded pockets. I would buy a lot more of their stuff if they ditched the jumper and work shirt style and switched those to the utility WS and traveller. Maybe that's just my taste though.

Maybe that's just my taste though. It's not just you. I want to like their shirts, but the pocket design is poor. The brown chambray looks great though, I've nearly bought that a number of times.
