No problem. I will get some more pics tomorrow with fit after a quick soak. Not that they need it. I threw them on briefly and see why Old and everyone's loves these and the Super Heavys. So damn comfortable. Couple more photos of these. Just tried them on again so they still have that out of the envelope fit but I think they will end up adjusting nicely like my other pair of LDs. Note I am 6'3 and these are a 36 inseam in the straight cut. These are great jeans. I wore my G Super Heavy's today while taking the bike out for a run. 38 degrees out, with fog, and they still did well at keeping the chill at bay, although I was only out for 45 min. I would usually wear the 26ers, but washed them yesterday, and they had not dried all the way. I really can't remember anyone saying they didn't like their Super Heavy's.

Hey man, if anyone is offended at an honest and non-attacking opinion, eff 'em. I like that it can be a shirt or a jacket, so while I would not have many of those, I do like having one or two.

My experience with Gustin saw most of the large portion of goodwill I had for the company and their products significantly diminish due to constant sizing problems, but they DID hit their production and shipping targets on all of my orders. I only have experience with one Gustin order - item ordered in April or May arrived in September (shipped 28 August), so 4 months+ or 16 weeks+ so in that sense, if my LD order of 5 November '14 arrives before March, LD would still be beating Gustin time-wise.... for my Swiss/German way of thinking Sal's countless mails about LD's future plans were a bit over the top (although I do appreciate enthousiasm) ... LD's business is selling quality apparel, partly in one brick-and-mortar store, mainly online - if I'm not mistaken, the target customer is a down-to-earth person with an appreciation for quality andlittle or no necessity of purchasing some reflections of glossy lifestyle through a bodacious brand ... assuming I got the target customer right, I would believe such that person would be less impressed by magniloquent propaganda but far more by stringent meeting of deadlines, i.e. they would rather hear "your order will be shipped within 4 months" (and then receive the garment within that deadline), than "your order will be shipped in 8 weeks" (and receiving after 3 months)

About the metalbuttons...I like them alot. I have the promopair of cone-peach and the smaller buttons (wich I think is the same as on the shirt) is somehow very very nice. I take a look at them sometimes and they constantly surprise me in how good I think they look everytime. I have the copper/black ones. This is why I chose them initially for my postal-blue h-bone shirt, but after some thinking and aplying the term "kill your darlings" I came to the conclusion (together with SAL) that I should change them to the fisheye. I also feel now, after the change, that they will fit (for my taste) best on a jacket or a CPO or a heavier shirt that "cannot" be tucked (14oz+). I know I asked LD to include metalbuttons, but I was actually thinking of something more along with the lines of the right one here: i00.i.aliimg.com/wsphoto/v0/562555952/free-fee-20mm-2-hole-sewing-metal-button-for-garment-alloy-buttons-clothes-sewing-button-gold.jpgSo My first order was initially going to be a blend of: * metal buttons * snap buttons * fisheye buttons * tonal thread * contrast thread I have to come forward here and say that I am one of the persons that has changed my orders so many times its not funny anymore. I feel like if I were a serielkiller and after going over the point of no return I kept on going and just had to get it right. I felt I was dirty behind my eyes and that I could never wash away what I had done/was continuing doing. But as time went by, what started as a test and kinda countingt he mopney as lost to lock in fit and see the process has grown with first the jeans i got (a little shaky but mainly incredible) and has escalated alot with all the pics of unreal shirts on IG, I felt more and more that I really wanted my initial order to be something i could wear. Especially since some of the fabrics are now gone, this added to the feeling of having to get this right. So now im left with an order that does not contain everything as a wierd test, and there is no extreme contrast stitching but I feel I have something on order that could actually be kinda cool if the fit fits my bodytype.

Got a shipment notice for my 5 oz Pendleton San Juan Blue Montana shirt. Is it OCD of me to refresh the tracking page every five minutes?

Guys, not trying to be a Mr. Randall party pooper here, but for the sake of all of us I think we need to decide whether we want to post our pics and reviews of our new LD gear in this thread or in the Lawless Reviews thread. It seems like we have some duplication here between this thread and the Lawless Reviews thread with some pics and reviews over there and some posted here. I have been trying to keep mine in the Lawless Reviews thread, which I'll be posting a review of all of my jeans later tonight anyways, just a thought fellas to keep this place clean. What do you guys think?

initially i expected the 'new arrivals' to be more discussion leading up to delivery and perhaps teaser info and discussion around the product, and reviews to be more strictly the more in depth reviews of the products themselves. it's splitting hairs to some extent and having both will likely continue to see creep in both areas. i don't have an issue with it...but if it's an admin headache i'd recommend locking one down or at least drawing some usage boundaries

Hoping to see my first order in the next week or so, but I know the KS stuff and old-site has been getting sorted, so I'm not too concerned.

There was a miscommunication about what was in the shipment. So all that arrived was the 5 oz. San Juan Blue USA Pendleton Mills Wool Work Shirt from the old site. Unfortunately it was not made to my measurements and does not fit and did not get pocket linings (I've called LD and we'll work it out), which is a real bummer since the fabric is dead stock. Fabric is making me dizzy. Beautiful though, which makes it unfortunate.

Beautiful shirt but what"s a shame. What is the size? Measurements I specified: Collar – 15.5 in Chest – 41 in Shoulders – 18 in Sleeves (first thumb knuckle) – 26 in Wrist (around watch) – 9.5 in Upper arm – 13.5 in Arm hole – 20.5 in Front length – 19.5 in Back length – 20.5 in I expected based on past experience some allowances for movement and a shirt measuring: Collar – 15.5 in Chest – 44 in Shoulders – 18.5 in Sleeves (first thumb knuckle) – 26 in Wrist (around watch) – 9.75 in Upper arm – 15 in Arm hole – 22 in Front length – 26.5 in Back length – 27.5 in Measurements of shirt received: Neck – 15.5 Chest – 37 Shoulders – 15.5 Sleeve – 25.25 Wrist – 8.5 Upper arm – 13.5 Arm hole – 17.5 or 18 Front length – 24.25 Back length – 27 The shirt was a Small Work Shirt from the old site, which if everyone remembers, the measurements on the old site work shirts had people like Old26 in a medium or large. In any event I had requested that they adjust the shirt to my measurements. I am just hoping the Millerain shirt and the Trucker actually use my measurements.

Almost unconscionably slim. Just checked Gustin size chart, and that is indeed unconscionably slim. 15.5" neck on a body that's almost less than an XS Slim in Gustin fit.

jbreitenbucher that sucks about the sizing. had you requested custom measurements and it arrived as a standard tagged size, or did you change your size after the initial order? (saw your post re: measurements) gusjin good call on the non-lined collar (unless it was requested that way). i had asked if the wool shirts would be lined at all before ordering mine. the response on 11/11 was: "I will be doing the cuff and collar. as for fabrics it will be a 100% cotton chambray, Light Canvas or Denim depending on colors."My fingers will remain crossed that this was an oversight and other woolen shirts will have lined cuffs/collars.

Ummm... the chest size is too small to work with the shirt and sleeve length. I am wondering what had gone wrong during the process. It will be good that LD is able to find out, so other orders will not have the same problem.
