Heads up on my order 11666 was cut while I was there in AZ on Dec 11th if I remember right. I saw it cut and I have not received ship notice yet. I ordered that order on Oct 17th. Shirts were held up as i told u previously so with that said 10 to 12 weeks looks like the reality. Without the button issue it still would fall in that time i think

"OLD site orders I know were printed today" - what does that mean??
Still no sign of 11632. Obviously numbers mean nothing here because of how fast some orders are completed. You state 10-12 looks to be reality but that doesn't give those of us who have already been waiting longer than 12 weeks any reassurance :/

Hey, can I be that guy? I wanna be that guy! That guy that says, "Yo, brahs waiting for your jeans, I have mine and they are totally awesome! Well worth the wait! Really, they are like a fine wine, the longer you wait, the better they age! I kinda wish mine were late just so I could enjoy it more! Truss me, bros...truss me. You are going to love them as much as I love mine right now. I named them 'shipply' because they shipped before others." YES! I am finally that guy that tries to make everyone feel better by saying he already has his and they are "worth the wait"...but really, he just sounds like a jerk. I mean, if that brah love waiting so much, why he don't send his jeans to someone else and continue to wait? (I secretly hate that guy) But really, I been living in my lawless jeans. They got some rain on them today and slightly wet raw denim be stink! Some of my gustins smelled like wet hay, these smelled like puppy chow. Took me about 20 minutes to figure why I smelled like that. I was in the car thinking, "did I step in something? Was it that mud I walked through on the site?"

Can I be That Other Guy who rhetorically asks whether it's really such a good idea to be posting people's real names on a public, searchable forum?

Can I be That Other Guy who rhetorically asks whether it's really such a good idea to be posting people's real names on a public, searchable forum? I think using just the order number should be sufficient.

Can I be That Other Guy who rhetorically asks whether it's really such a good idea to be posting people's real names on a public, searchable forum? It is a great question. I didn't think about it. I know we all appreciate the updates greatly. The order number is enough for people to see if they are on the list. It is better to be on the safe side.

I agree. years from now, someone's name will come up in a google search and, *GASP* they bought DENIM Well, I can only assume that many of the names that have been posted are not the identities of members of this forum. I reckon you're probably correct that the vast majority of those folks would not be terribly distressed at the prospect of someone discovering when and from whom they purchased some clothing and/or accessories, but some may feel differently about publicly disclosing that information and/or may not wish to be associated with this place for whatever reason. Either way, it's hardly your decision to make on their behalf. I mean, I'd be more than a little bit peeved if, unbeknownst to me, a vendor posted my real name and order number over at the EdHardyFriends forum.

Ok that didnt go over well. I didnt think names without addresses would be bad. Lets just keep the orders private like intended. I did not want to ruffle feathers. If I see a name I know I will alert you privately but no longer post any orders as I did SORRY FOR THAT

What about us KS unwashed serfs who don't have an order number? Put my name up. Don't block my updates, please. Or Dirty_Denim, please PM us KS wienies and give us a list. Seriously guys, I've gone about 4 months with zero updates on my KS order and Dirty_Denim was kind of doing Gods work here. By joining this (or any forum) and providing an email and a few details any 15 year old kid with a bit of ambition and doxxing skills can figure out who you are andI see people posting their names and emails all over the place here. I understand the mods are trying to protect privacy and that's an honorable thing, but can those of us who aren't worried about being outed as denim customers not be involuntarily opted out? I'm an engineer, my name is all over the internet, if it's a problem, well, I was screwed 10 years ago Seriously....how about a first name and the first two letters of a last name for KS people. We got shafted on delivery dates, we got shafted when everyone here ordered the same stuff in October/Nov we ordered (in July) and got it free or half price and now we can't get updates because we didn't get order numbers from LD last summer? And don't tell me to contact LD because it doesn't work for KS stuff. I'm not mad, I just want a shot at updates. Can we find a middle ground for KS folks?

Email addresses can be harvested from websites, spam ensues. Names are just a thing I think are better left to PM or emails. In general, having that info up in a forum post is up to you, but many sites will nuke it. In all reality, I don't even want order status posted on the forums. I again think that's between vendors and clients, and we're not a clearing house for vendor order status'.
Order status is simply something that vendors should handle either on their own site, or in email/PM. I may be in the minority here, but when I use the "most recent posts" layout, I don't want pages of order status updates. Even if it's MY order.
I'm interested in hearing opinions on this, and nothing is going to happen unless Todd and Ickes want to move this stuff outta here. The forum is hoped to be useful, interesting and fun. If that's part of what you guys want, then cool.
I tend to thing folks should disguise their emails online:
scott at email dot com etc etc

I do see your point(s) Old26, just had a ray of sunshine/info after a long silence and I'd like a discussion as well on how we can preserve it in a way that people are comfortable with. If I'm on my own here, that's cool, I'll stand down and shut up.

I'd like to see batch updates, 200-300, cutting this week, 100-200 sewing this week, 0-100 shipping this week, etc. the Gustin batch updates get posted and discussed pretty heavily so I don't think it's out of line for Sal to post it once a week or so. Lots of people here are waiting like a kid at Christmas for $100s in G/LD/other stuff and wait times are pretty much the biggest issue right now in the reasonably priced made in the US apparel market.
