Guess it seems they don't do their orders in, well, order. Maybe if you set it and forget it, they don't prioritize it as much as if you keep in constant contact with them?

From the sound of it, their computer systems have been a cluster. With the latest setbacks, I'd be somewhat worried, so I'd contact them directly about any orders. I think some of this comes form trying to do too much, too soon. I hope they get it settled so you guys (including me) get the orders placed...

i've contacted - contact drops in and out. sizing requests gone unanswered, emails for sizing changes not adhered to, etc.
will wait until the system gets ironed out but i now know i'm going to end up with a pile of stuff that doesn't fit. the 38s i'm selling were supposed to be 36s.
...and before anyone says i can return them and have the items altered, yeah, i can but i don't want to be 6mos into this process. i shouldn't have to manage their production every day to get something that works for me. aside from the production issues, the true sizing being inconsistent from how other brands measure is going to bite a lot of folks in the ass.
........
and i didn't want to get into a public bitch session about this. i just know that the blackwatch flannel showed up on the site later than my initial order and just wanted to check to make sure my memory was right. there's apparently no order that's adhered to unless the old orders are just effed because an order i made in early november is already in production while orders i placed at the end of september and early october haven't been received. i've got quite a bit of cash tied up in LD at this point and fully understand/understood the risk, just thought things would be handled better than this. the quality of the items i've received has been great and seems to be of good value but i'd pull my money out if i could and wait until this crap gets sorted.

yep - we had a thread going last week but my sizing comment/question went unanswered and you asked if we could talk on the phone and i gave you my number and let you know when i could talk but didn't hear from ya.
didn't want to dig at you, i know shit's crazy and you and the team are slammed. just wanted to illustrate that things aren't going in order and there's no transparency about what's going on with the earlier orders. will keep my fingers crossed that the shirts/jackets are sized as needed but the orders haven't changed yet to the sizes i requested.

I understand your feeling and it is very similar to my frustration with G about my work shirt. Anyway, I hope DD is going to get this right for you from this point on, especially on sizing. Please keep us inform and LD needs to get the process right or all members will suffer here.

I do think it isnt fair to say your questions went unswered when you and I spoke about this only a few days ago. You just said they went unaswered . That is giving the impression that you just keep sending emails and messages with nothing. That isnt fair really. Of course I want to help you and will . I last responded to you on here on Dec 12th and on the website on the 18th telling you this "I sent everything over to the shop immediately who confirmed everything will be done this week. They are just wrapping up all those orders"
I got this email from Laura " These shirts have likely been cut already. So their are no guarantees….. I know Pablo has been cutting OLD shirt orders for the past week or so.
OKAY, I just checked. They were cut as an XL on Dec 12th…

It has no place in customer service (or many others). It's simple, fix his problem.

It's brutal, but all the problems are coming to a head. It might be best if DD just stuck with the support on the website instead of coming in here. He's clearly working crazy hard, and tact is difficult when under intense pressure and stress. I know this from running a business that requires me to be "happy all the time" while working 70 hours a week, so customers and my employees can feel at ease being at my business.

I keep getting that feeling I get when watching TV news with some of the forum drama that goes on. It is usually not as bad it is made out to be. Lighten up it will be ok.

Yep, it's just clothing. That's why I've kept quiet(ish) about stuff. This isn't a support channel for my orders and I didn't intend for my comments to turn into such.
I do think it's fair to consider my question unanswered if you replied to something sent after my question/request and not the question/request that came before.
I'm ecstatic to hear that the shirts were cut up as XL considering the order was for L.
Order #150 (phone) Sep 22, 2014
1. 14.5oz Kuroki Ind 2x1 Men's Jeans (Fit: Relax Straight, Waist: 36, Inseam: 34, Hardware: Gun Metal, Thread Color: Red, Denim Tag: Sunset, Jeans Fly: Button, Pocket Liner: Pink Houndstooth Canvas, Chain-Stitch Hem: Single) *waist adjusted via email
2. 13.5oz Kaihara Mills Indigo Men's Jeans (Fit: Slim Tapered, Waist: 36, Inseam: 34, Hardware: White, Thread Color: White, Denim Tag: Koi, Jeans Fly: Button, Pocket Liner: Light Blue & White Stripe Canvas, Chain-Stitch Hem: Single) *waist adjusted via email
3. 9.5oz Candiani Lt. Indigo Chambray Men's Shirt (Shirt Style: Work, Fit: Regular, Size: Large, Thread Color: Red, Button: Pearl, Snaps on Cuff: Two) *size adjusted via email
4. 14oz Black Slub Selvedge Men's Shirt (Shirt Style: Work, Fit: Regular, Size: Large, Thread Color: White, Button: Grey, Snaps on Cuff: Two, Pocket Liner: Black & White Stripe Canvas) *size adjusted via email
So like the email went ignored for the size change on the jeans, the shirts went unchanged as well (and keep in mind the shirt re-sizing was a necessity since the size chart played the ol' swaparoo game). Please do not waste your money shipping them as I don't have space/time for more articles to try and sell or drop off at Goodwill.
I just don't f!@king get it. I take the time to get a large email together with every single one of my orders outlined and I'm still not heard. A smart person, of which I am not, would have put the older orders into the new system so they could continue tracking them. Also, I've been asked by two different people to talk in person and when I provide my phone number and large windows of availability, I hear nothing (I figured it'd be easier for folks to call me when they have time as my schedule's consistently a wreck).
Not to mention that I was also supposed to receive a "promo pair" from the forum but that seemed to have dropped off into oblivion as well as my email communique.
This is the last message I post in the LD forum - washing my hands of this shit and hopefully will get my ~$1k "investment" back somehow from you when you start turning profits.

I just didnt think it was right to say he wasn't receiving any help. Do you think customers should be going on forums saying they havent been contacted so that everyone can think we are not? I mean that's all I do . Of course I know I shouldn't expect fair in anything in life but on a forum I am a member of I would hope we can all respect one another especially if I began as a member just like any of you

I think I was clear. No one in customer service should tell a customer "it's not fair". It has no place in business. Why not simply apologize for any inconvenience, tell him that you will call (and do it) to resolve the problem? Then he would get back on here and praise you. Simple. No need for the long winded he said, she said. OKAY!

I can't be a member and an employee of Lawless. I wanted to be both but I now understand it isnt possible and a silly thought really. I was really hoping it wouldnt get in the way of my membership but clearly it does. I will try my best to be everything you guys need me to be. If you need anything please ask me. Do not think its gonna be to much for me to handle. It is my job to make sure you are happy. Let me have it, whatever that means and I will go to work for you. Do not think of Dirty Denim think of SAL the Lawless Guy I apologize for confusing my presence in here. SO no worries. Like many of you already do please ask questions via PM. I will check those messages throughout the day and take care of everything as quickly as I can. bugula You are correct, I took it personal and I shouldnt have. You are not upset at me but at our delay and sizing. I apologize for taking what you said personally. I try to be both a member and an employee and you guys need me to be a Lawless Representative. I apologize for being insensitive to your needs. I am a person who doesn't care much about certain imperfections or delays because I have always been on the other side of the fence. I need to understand many of you may feel different. I apologize to all of you for my being insensitive and sometimes sensitive to what you guys come in here for...Answers! I come in here sometimes happy with news or things I heard and I post it without thinking you may be looking for answers not what fabric I saw for the 1st time. Lets get all your questions answered to the best of my ability. If you say my answers are not good enough then I will have to get you a better one.

The general tone of this thread and some of the others on the board recently seems to have taken a turn for the worse.
(okay . . . pot. kettle. black., but the last several days on the forum have been downers . . . G t-shirs, LD orders, veg-tan patches, loomies, DD morphing into "sal the employee"--where did the gustinfriends joy go?)
