In theory, I got a slightly larger than average L, although at a nominal 22" I'd have called their L an M, so let's hope it works out ok. I'm guessing IHUK were surprised how quickly it sold out, as they only got in one colour due to lack of interest from retailers. Sounds like the retailers got it wrong. the color and pattern of the fabric looks great but I think the fact that it's made from the wrinkly shirring fabric is what put some people off. It did for me anyways. Some like it, some don't. |

If that's UHF, it's a strange time to sell them. I saw the fall pics of the gear on racks and the crazy plaids looked really good. Will probably get the red and black of that, but it's not until November. My 143 should arrive tomorrow, so we'll see how that turns out. With our climate, that's considered a summer shirt  Agreed. the crazy plaids look great, I will probably get the blue and black. The Purple and Grey Ombres look interesting in that pic as well. Also curios about the solid CPO/UHF's. |

ickes, I've no particular views about the fabric, so we'll see how it goes. Most of my IH shirts are plain and about 12oz, so I don't mind something different. I'm still not 100% sure how the blue will look. From a distance it seems almost black, but close up it's a definite blue. I'd prefer the blacker look, but can live with it either way.

I'm going for the workshirt... I have far too many westerns, so I want to stop buying them. But, seems as though all of the best shirts were made in the western cut.

I don't think I can have too many shirts in the western cut if the western cut is what fits me the best. I can definitely have too many flannels though. |

I wish they would make a non western shirt with the western cut... Like, no pointed pockets, no scallops or pointed yoke. I love the cut, but my wardrobe is becoming redundantly redundant, lol. I haven't found another brand with build quality, heft of materials and this great of a cut, so I'm trapped in a perpetual state of western shirts and work wear.

Same with the ombres, most especially the grey. That copper button shirt/jac, the corduroy western, crazy plaids, the list goes on  Incredible work, but how much aspero can one man wear? |

and yeah, I too am passing on the work cookie monster.
I'm probably going to pass on the western released in a couple weeks in favor of the blue ombre; the two look similar enough.

I'm returning my 143. It came in smaller than expected and I just wasn't feeling the love that I have for all my other IH shirts. I'll just hang fire now until the UHFs in the fall and definitely size up.

btw guys, kind of off topic but Haraki's daughter has cancer (has been battling it for a while now) and they are actually posting her blog over on the IHUK forum. It's a good read and definitely puts a perspective on things and maybe will be helpful for anyone else battling cancer to read. It is also translated very well.

A good reason to restrain could be that the 9oz Organic Charcoal Herringbone westerns are completed, and should be in next week. He's hoping the workshirts will be done soon after.
