A good reason to restrain could be that the 9oz Organic Charcoal Herringbone westerns are completed, and should be in next week. He's hoping the workshirts will be done soon after. Dang.. Thought those were towards the end of the year. But I already have the 142s, and I'm really happy with them.

I purposely skipped the IHSH-142 just because I absolutely want the charcoal herringbone.
But, now that I've TRIED to quell your Cookie Monster thirst, I'll encourage it since it seems like your mind is made up, lol. I grabbed the work shirt version (In an attempt to make myself like the work shirts), and I'm super stoked for it. SHOULD be in today.

Is it anywhere on Rakuten? I could need this. They were made for Giles, so unfortunately not. Otherwise I'd be all over them.

I'll be getting my 134 in a couple weeks I'm really interested in these as I'd like some lighter colored pants for warm weather. Any ideas whether these are going to breathe well or not? You bought the 666ST's as well, right? I'd like to know how they compare if it's not too much trouble.

I'll clue you guys in, no problem. But, from the images of the pique, it looks far more breathable. The sateen is 0% breathable

Delivery!!! Simple review: Same 666 fit many people have come to know and love. VERY similar color at the 666ST, and the same grey thread for stitching. You can see below that the pique has much more texture though. It is also alot more light and "drapey". Bottom line: They're similar enough that you don't need both, but they're also different enough to make both justifiable. (Pique is on top, and the first large pic is the pique)

I love that tag! The photos are great but obviously the question on everyone's minds is do you have a new sense of being yet?

My 154 landed today, and the fabric is Fecking Fantastic ! My first foray into herringbone, and I'm extremely happy with my choice.
One hitch, hopefully minor..... Though, the fit guide specs were almost identical to my 102tg, it fits about a 1/2 size large, all around. I'm going to give it a warm soak, and low tumble. With any luck, it'll fit as well as the tg, afterwards. Fingers crossed.
Edit: @untucked , you've got the western version. Have you any wisdom I can benefit from ?

I do cold machine washes, and regular dryer cycles. It will shrink some, but not terribly. I wear my to work, so I wash and dry it WEEKLY, with no special consideration.

Oh! After you get your shrink, I recommend you be more gentle with your care and cleaning. The front flaps and tail are prone to curling up

I'm gonna use a paint brush. I didn't like the dip and drip method I used on my LD shirt. I want to really saturate them, like some Kapital Century Denim

I recently did my G Salt & Pepper workshirt that way. It turned out very well. Pics and review in the Gustin kakishibu thread. One recommendation..... start with the fabric lightly damp. I found, it allows for more even coverage. Dry, it soaks into the fabric more heavily where you first lay the brush. Too wet, you risk diluting the kakishibu. This is by no means "gospel". But, I'll be using this method from now on. However you proceed, I'm looking forward to the results. It's a great idea.
