I've put in an order for it, but the sizing is small again, with the L very neat, so I'm waiting to hear if a small XL might be a better fit.

The sizing seems really wonky, but I put in an order for an L. Giles said they're stretchy, so as long as shoulders are fine, the shirt should be fine. L and XL sold out fast.

So I grabbed the 143 and added MoP snaps to them.

I had no idea the 143 was in the wrinkly shirring fabric. I'll pass.

It's hard to think about these shirts during summertime It sure is, but summer comes to an end some time. Think these will get a lot of wears between 50 and 70 degrees, which is a good 6 months of the year.

I thought these were light summer shirts, like 4 or 5oz. What are they, then?

I thought these were light summer shirts, like 4 or 5oz. What are they, then? For me, anything higher than 80 degrees, I don't wear long sleeve shirts that aren't seersucker/linen. 50 to 70 degrees would be the sweet spot for these, imo. Doable in the 70s, but higher than that, I'd go polo/tee/seersucker/linen.

I'm still awaiting confirmation as to whether or not I'm actually getting one. I think I ordered first, but the offered size L was only 21.9", so I asked for an alternative wider one. Then they all sold out. I'd have gone XL for the chest, but the shoulders are crazy wide, so asked for a small XL, but never heard back. I guess I've probably lost this one, but I'll survive.

Blue Black Buffalo Check has arrived in the UK and will go live on IHUK tomorrow. Hard for me to think about buying an UHF flannel right now though. Pool Party season is in full swing in Phoenix.

If that's UHF, it's a strange time to sell them. I saw the fall pics of the gear on racks and the crazy plaids looked really good. Will probably get the red and black of that, but it's not until November. My 143 should arrive tomorrow, so we'll see how that turns out. With our climate, that's considered a summer shirt

In theory, I got a slightly larger than average L, although at a nominal 22" I'd have called their L an M, so let's hope it works out ok.
I'm guessing IHUK were surprised how quickly it sold out, as they only got in one colour due to lack of interest from retailers. Sounds like the retailers got it wrong.
