If he gets ahold of 28oz denim, I would much more prefer a black overdyed peacoat instead of jeans That would be fun!

Just going off the very first post in this thread. I don't know.
'Since Lawless isn't planning on a consistent drop strategy (i.e. Gustin's Tuesday/Thursday/some Saturday drops), Roman mentions new fabrics rolling in if you bring it up during conversation. And he apparently adds more as it's photographed and added to the back end of the website.
The news if you missed it in the Yahoo clusterf@ck group (I say that with love), is that Lawless has two new denims coming in the next few months (not weeks, but think closer to late fall/winter):
22/23 oz.
28 oz.
Yes! A 28 oz. and he told me (at the time during the KS campaign) that he's not planning to charge more than $100 for it. I would assume with the new pricing models, that it's not going to be much more than $79 if the price varies at all. I asked about blowing up needles and he's sewing these (along with the 17's and 18.5's) with the machines he uses to sew up the heavy denim and leather jackets.
The denim is coming in from one of the Japanese mills, and while he's got some arrangement to get first dibs on new incoming denims, the Japanese are in high demand right now and slowing down on delivery dates (as per Roman last week). '

I've got my Beasts (26oz) on today. I'm not sure I want more ≥20oz yet. I really LOVE 18s. We'll see - I like UTG's idea of a 28oz peacoat!

I have a '72 Kersey wool navy-issue peacoat, and it is one of my favorite articles of clothing. I really love peacoats.

I have WWII Soviet Greatcoats. They're insanely heavy. Perfect for camping in the mountains in the winter. Oh, and for shooting Germans.

That was a Japanese 14 oz denim but is long gone. We were also told that it was likely a Nihon Menpu but it was never confirmed as so. That is why you may see we say Japan as the maker

We are close to scoring the machine that will better handle heavier denim i.e 20+oz's. We could in theory hande them with the machines we have now but this new machine will make it much easier to handle the denim

How is this 24oz Melton black watch wool? This could make for a killer CPO.

24oz 100% wool is a semi-rare fabric.

I have a Gustin CPO coming, and I'm considering getting a LD CPO, the black 24oz one, and return my black Wallace and Barnes CPO. Ill tell everyone this. Kickstarter is/was a nightmare in trying to get responses to the sizing needs of customers. We have 100+ people with no response to messages or emails. Wrong emails were given or we just get nothing back. Now with that said we have moved on to the rest of the orders as you can tell with some getting promo pairs and old site orders. We are making some great changes to many production areas that will help speed up the process a bit. Imagine this. In a normal factory 1 type of jean will be made with all the same thread, buttons and set sizes. They will bang those same jeans out without having to change much. BUT with us when you have to constantly change the thread out from one color to another that adds an enormous amount of time to the day. Add on top of that custom adjustments and you are really slowing it down. With all that said, we are damn near great at it. We have a few things in play that we implemented while I was here and they instantly produced what Roman called his best day of production YET. (I posted a lil video of a bunch of items all bagged up on my IG) We say 6to 8 weeks not because thats how long it takes to make the item but because thats how long it will take till we get to your order. If we average 30 orders a day and there are 1000 orders ahead of you, that would mean about 34 days till we get to your order. We say 56 days at the high end because sometimes we are waiting on fabric or maybe the jeans could have sewed up small. If that happens we make em again. We can also be bit behind schedule with maybe the shop running a bit slow. There are a million different variables with our model but I am confident we are getting real close to being a well oiled machine. I mean you may see a few here and there with a line off track but this is all done by human eye and even that will get better. We are a bit over 1 year live and I think thats pretty amazing when you look at what we are putting out. I imagine in another few months to a year we will be consistently sending product 1 to 2 weeks faster and spot on to size. Bear with us as we grow to be what I know we can be.

I do this stuff for free for people I know all the time.
