Well, to be pedantic, midnight Wednesday on the East Coast is in 2 hours and 22 minutes. Faculty run into this all the time when they tell students something is due at midnight on a particular day.

Yeah, I foresee some workshirts in my future. Yea i like that herringbone fabric. I believe its 10 oz so should look great is WS form. There are some good plans in play for Lawless to eventually have access to alot more fabrics. Roman is like one of us which I find refreshing. I have the same respect for Iron Heart but especially Giles & Paula who get down in the trenches with their customers

when do new drops typically come out? We are setting all that up and have a bunch of ideas that will be great for you guys. One will be something where we will drop 1 item made out of a specific fabric in a specific new style that once sold will not be made again. We have a basic schedule set but need some tweaking before we set it in stone

We have a basic schedule set but need some tweaking before we set it in stone If you guys are looking for input, I think this is a great idea. I like the way Taylor Stitch is implementing crowd-funding with their workshop, and maybe Lawless can do special short-run patches or something so that people can't just recreate it later on their own, unless you have a line on deadstock -- once you've got the looms going, though, that won't matter, the limited edition stuff can be truly limited. You can do a special natural indigo run with the guys that were posted earlier, or a collaboration with Kakishibu Chris (or gimme another shot at Indigo x Persimmon and do both). The custom loomstate you guys can start to offer once those looms are up could really be something else, as well. I've still got my fingers crossed for custom over-dye options in the future, as well, for the "advanced" (or more adventurous) denim-head. A grab-bag option would be cool, too, where it's a sort of "designer's choice". All that said, you guys are already game-changers in my book, so if nothing changed over the next year (other than more canvas/non-denim fabrics) I'd still love you guys.

We have so many great plans that will be beneficial to you guys as well as fun expereinces for all who take part in this thread. At the same time we have to keep things tight so that production isnt affected so anything implemented needs to be in line with what we have in play. Either way if it were up to me i would dye my daughter indigo and watch her ass fade like a pair of jeans LOL...thats terrible of me

Holy moly.. a collab with kakishibuchris for limited run fabric.. freakin' genius, exophobe. The possibilities are endless when Lawless can do anything from fabric to finish.. this is American manufacturing.

We will reach out and see if we can get his help with the cotton dying. The only challenge with natural indigo is the fade is more of a green fade then a blue.

If he gets ahold of 28oz denim, I would much more prefer a black overdyed peacoat instead of jeans

THAT would grab any naysayers by the balls and DEMAND their attention.
Shorty peacoat.
